NiteRider has been lihtin the way for cyclists since For 28 years we have continued to re-define bicycle lihtin technoloy and today NiteRider remains widely respected as the leadin bicycle lihtin company in the world. ABOUT US NiteRider was started in San Dieo, California in 1989 by Tom Carroll and his wife Veronica. Tom, a fanatical athlete and outdoors man from Southern California had a problem. The best surf around was better at niht, after the crowds had one home. Since there was nothin even remotely usable to liht up the waves, Tom had to desin a solution from scratch. Over the past 28 years, the business has rown from humble beinnins (literally from the Carroll s kitchen table) to a dedicated team of 30 employees based at our lobal headquarters in San Dieo. The NiteRider staff is responsible for the desin, assembly and testin of our lihts, and we cover all administrative, sales, marketin, customer service and shippin requirements from our San Dieo office.

16 DESIGNED TO MEET FL1 STANDARDS All of our products are certified to FL1 Standards as featured on our packain. Lumens Total liht output measured in portable lihtin devices such as flashlihts and bike lihts. We test our lihts in-house usin our calibrated interated sphere. Run time Tested with a fresh chare or new set of batteries from 30 seconds after the liht is turned on until the liht output reaches 10% of the initial measurement. IP64 IP64 ratin means the liht is tested aainst infiltration of dust (6) and splashin water from all anles (4). IP64 results are completed after impact testin to ensure water resistance under real life conditions. Impact resistance The heiht, measured in meters, from which the liht can be dropped onto cured concrete and still work properly.
