3 Introduction Electric & Pneumatic Conveyor This is a custom designed modified conveyor to advance and unload sleeves onto a cart. Safety Hub City Iron Works has provided operating procedures and safety information to ensure the wellbeing of both the operator and the equipment. This operating manual contains important safety information - please read it thoroughly. Safety Features Include: Mechanically active components are painted safety yellow. Safety guards Equipment safety labels. Install conveyor in exact same place as removed. Concrete studs should still be set and usable. 2. Level machine as required. 3. Route electricity and air as required to motor starters and air cylinder controls. Function Description 1 Emergency stop Stops the function of the machine 2 On/Off switch Turns conveyor on or off 3 Unload Switch 4 Conveyor switch 5 Indicator Light 6 Selector switch (Manual mode only) Loads Sleeves into car and also resets to home position (Manual mode only) Moves sleeve forward and backward in the conveyor Shows when machine is switched on and active Switches machine from manual to automatic mode KTM-XXXX Page 4 of 13

Process is to be run in automatic mode. Manual mode is for testing only. Troubleshooting Guide Problem Rollers turn but pipe fails to move. Arms try to lift but fail to do so. Arms stuck in lower position, fails to return Corrective Action Rollers may be worn, replace rollers Pressure set too low. Check air source. Check for broken or leaking air lines Cart overloaded. 13 Preventative Maintenance Pump one shot of grease daily into each flange bearing. Check for leaking air connections daily. Check wiring biannually. Check for wear on rubber rollers monthly. KTM-XXXX Page 13 of 13
