1 Accommodation and Power description Accommodation s provides you with points of presence (PoP) for Co-location space in order to install equipment for WFLLA products in a WFLLA Site. 4 General : The date to which these prices apply concern the completed / handover date rather than the date on which the order is placed. 1) Charges for CP Equipment Room Works are a function of the location, room size, equipment installed, amount of conversion required etc. The costs of works to construct the CP Equipment Room for each WFLLA Site can only be determined following a Co-location full Survey. If the CP requires a bespoke room they should contact their KCOM Partner Account Manager ( Account Manager ) and discuss the specific details of the request. (If you are a CP new to KCOM and do not have an Account Manager assigned to you please contact either the Head of Wholesale NNS, Chris Dingle (chris.dingle@kcom.com) and he will allocate one of the KCOM Partner team members. Alternatively, please contact the Director of NNS, Iain Shearman (iain.shearman@kcom.com)). 2) This charge will be payable monthly or annually in advance on the specified dates depending on when the relevant service or product starts or is deemed Ready for (RFS). 3) This charge is applied where a CP makes a request and that is also aborted. 4) The billable area is rounded up to the nearest square decimetre (1/100 of a square metre). 5) CPs are liable for the made for a Co-location full survey in the event that the order is subsequently rejected either because there is a lack of space, or the CP otherwise chooses to discontinue the order. In the event the CP Equipment Room Works progresses then the CP will be credited with a proportion [ %] of the Co-location full survey charge against the estimated CP Equipment Room Works and associated invoices. 6) The billable area is calculated by whichever is the greater of either: (i) The physical footprint of the product ordered multiplied by 3.85, or (ii) The heat dissipation requirement of the product ordered. The heat dissipation requirement is calculated as follows: the maximum permissible AC power capacity of the product per square meter is 500w. Therefore maximum permissible AC power capacity of X at 500w per square meter = X/500 = Y square meter billable area. The billable area is indicated in the CP offer document. 5 7) These are for providing the required power and cooling to the maximum power rating of the product the CP orders for the Co-location service. 8) Escorted Access average response time = [TBC]. "KCOM s Normal Working Hours" means to 17.00, Monday to Friday inclusive (excluding Public and Bank Holidays). 9) Escorted Access -These prices are calculated using a minimum of 4 hours including KCOM travelling time. After 4 hours has expired, the appropriate hourly charge will be applied. 10) AC Final Distribution - This charge will apply to all orders for supply. 11) Site Access - Applicable to Co-location. Charge applies to provision / re programming of electronic access cards and provision of external gate keys. 12) Security and Working Practices Audit - This audit is renewable on a 12 monthly basis as per ISO registration timescales. 13) See KCOM Accommodation s Schedule 3 Co-location 14) Fault Not Found - This charge applies where an engineering visit is made in response to a power fault report and no fault is found relating to the KCOM supplied products e.g a mis-diagnosis on the part of the CP. Also chargeable where the root cause of a fault is identified to CP action or is identified as due to CP equipment. Chargeable where the CP equipment is operating outside of the product specification parameters due to CP action. Power Fault Not Found for outside normal working hours will relate to when the fault was reported by the CP to trigger the visit. P13-S29, Version 1 Page 5 of 5
