Upon arriving at the test site, report to your assigned classroom. You must present your admission voucher and proper photo identification to a proctor in order to be allowed into the classroom. Since the test takes place during winter, when severe weather could affect roads and public transportation, please make sure you allow for extra time to reach the test site as well as to return home. 2 Room Assignment Your room assignment is based on the last 5 digits of your registration number, which is printed on your admission voucher. Room assignments are subject to change on the test day. In case there is a room change, a notice will be posted. Test Level Registration Numbers Classroom Number N N N N N N N N Administration Office 227 What to Bring to the Test Site You MUST bring the following items to the test site. 1. Your admission voucher. 2. A valid form of photo ID. Copies are not accepted. Acceptable forms of official identification include driver s license, passport, or student ID. Social security cards, credit or ATM cards, and retail credit cards are not acceptable. The name on your voucher must match the name on the official ID that you bring to the test center. It is your responsibility to ensure that your official ID is valid and available on the day of the test. ID checks are strictly enforced. If you arrive at the test center without a valid ID, you will not be permitted to take the test. 3. Several sharpened No. 2 or HB pencils and an eraser for multiple-choice answer sheets. Pencils and erasers will not be supplied at the test center. Pens are NOT permitted. 4. An analog watch. (We do not provide a clock in the classroom.) Do NOT bring a watch that beeps. Digital watches are not allowed. You cannot use your cell phone as a timepiece. 2

3 Prohibited Materials Do Not Bring the Following Items to the Test Site: 1. Electronic devices or media such as PDAs, pagers, computers, recording devices, etc. 2. A watch that beeps or has an alarm. 3. Handwritten or printed materials. 4. Food or drinks, except water in a clear bottle with no label and with a secure lid. The water bottle must be stored in your bag under your seat, not on your desk, during the test. 5. Cell phones: All cell phones must be completely turned off and stored during the test. If your phone makes any noise for whatever reason, including incoming calls, vibrate mode, accidents, etc., we will void your test score and you will not receive a score for the test. Note: If you are traveling from a distance and have any prohibited items or a travel bag with you, you must leave your belongings with a proctor at your designated classroom during the test. Your personal bag should be kept under your seat and should not block any walkways. General Testing Guidelines Dress so that you can adapt to any room temperature. Guests who accompany you to the test site are not allowed in the classroom. You are not allowed to leave the test room until a proctor dismisses you. If you get sick during the test and must leave the room, you must notify the proctor so that the proctor can accompany you out of the room. Directions and Parking Information Driving Directions: From I-75/85 Northbound Exit #246 (Central Avenue/Fulton Street). Follow the signs to Central Avenue. Continue on Central Avenue and cross MLK, Jr. Drive. The street will go up an overpass above Underground Atlanta. Look for G Parking Deck on the right hand side at the top of the overpass. 3

4 From I-75/85 Northbound H.O.V. Lane Exit at Memorial Drive. At the first light go straight and you will be on Central Avenue which leads to G Deck as the above directions indicate. From I-75/85 Southbound Exit #249A (Courtland Street/Georgia State University). This exit puts you on Courtland Street which is a one-way street that leads to the campus. Continue on this street across the bridge through campus and turn right on MLK, Jr. Drive, then right again on Central Avenue, as above directions indicate, to G Deck. From I-20 Eastbound Exit #56B (Windsor/Spring Street) and go straight to the third traffic light. Take a left on Central Avenue, which leads to G Deck as the above directions indicate. From I-20 Westbound Exit #58A (Capitol Avenue) and turn right at the light on Capitol Avenue. Turn left on MLK, Jr. Drive and right on Central Avenue to G Deck as the above directions indicate. Note: The Langdale Hall is at 38 Peachtree Center Avenue, where it intersects with Decatur Street. Central Avenue changes to Peachtree Center Avenue. The change occurs at Decatur Street. Enter the front of the building from Peachtree Center Avenue. This will lead to the 2 nd Floor Lobby and elevators to all floors. Public Transportation: MARTA (About $3.00) Take the East/West Rapid Rail line to the Georgia State Station (E1). Exit the station onto Piedmont Avenue and turn right to Decatur Street (1 st traffic light). Go left on Decatur Street to Peachtree Center Avenue (2 nd traffic light). General Classroom Building is on the corner of Decatur Street and Peachtree Center Avenue (Central Avenue changes to Peachtree Center Avenue at this intersection.) MARTA information: Parking: See parking locations at: Nearest GSU parking facility is G Deck on Central Avenue which becomes Peachtree Center Avenue at Decatur Street. Parking is free in G Deck on weekends from the Decatur Street entrance. 4
