14 Operational Needs Current boarding and disembarking from vessels is through one door. Current ramp width from float to vessel is 4 feet. Ridership for fiscal year ending June 2014 was 793,192 passengers. Weekday average was 1,944 and weekend average was 2,758. Narrow facilities impact boarding and disembarking. 14 Vessels are being retrofitted for two 8 foot wide doors. Project will provide two 8 foot wide ramps from float to vessels. The two 8 foot ramps will connect to 16 foot wide boarding platform. New wider facilities will improve boarding and disembarking.
