4 SMART EYE MOTION DETECTION BATTERIES & CHARGING UNIT ALPHA uses new-generation, high quality LiFeP04 batteries manufactured to exacting standards for high power applications and longevity. SMART EYE MOTION DETECTION Powered by Panasonic. The ALPHA series comes complete with a built-in motion detection system that automatically regulates the light source from full brightness (100%) to the energy saving output (0%). The duration of full brightness is dependent on the level of movement activity within the detection area of the fixture. This key feature not only preserves battery life but can also serve as a security purpose by deterring unsociable LED & LIGHT MANAGEMENT LEADSUN capitalises on the most technically advanced LED lighting technologies that work seamlessly and systematically with our latest LED driver and power management system. Our LED fixtures offer a range of output power & distribution options suitable for a wide range of applications. For instance; Our batwing type light distribution is ideally suited for pathways & laneways etc as it minimises light spill in front and behind the fitting. The Round type LED on the other hand is perfect for open space areas. Key benefits include enhanced safety, strong thermal stability, tolerance to abuse and a high current rating. Lithium batteries are much lighter and more compact than lead acid batteries; They also take higher voltage under load and offer extensive cycle life. Lithium batteries are also fully recyclable, making them the smart choice for our precious environment. Leadsun s batteries are charged for maximum effciency using our integrated charging circuit that constantly monitors the state of the batteries; this optimizes the charging levels while protecting them against thermal overload, overcharge, over-discharge and accidental short circuit. The batteries can operate in temperatures from -0 to +60 degrees C. POWER MANAGEMENT An important benefit of the ALPHA s Smart-Eye feature is its ability to preserve battery autonomy for maximum reliability even in overcast weather conditions. Optionally, non-standard operating profiles can be programmed into the system to allow for change in the illumination levels and duration; Combined with the Smart Eye motion detection it creates the flexibility to adapt to specific conditions to ensure even greater operational reliablity. 5 POLE INSTALLATION OPTIONS Installation is completed using a concrete-less footing system (EZYfoot) that takes approximately 0-45mins to fully install. The EZYwinch lowerable pole is then fitted onto the footing base plate allowing for the ALPHA All-In-One solar module and LED fixture to be installed; Once installed the pole is simply winched up to its vertical position using the detachable winch system. Embodied Energy MJ EZYwinch Pole lowerable light pole EZYFoot Concrete-less footing system EZYpole offers the perfect solution for making the installation of leadsun s lighting systems cost-effective and safer to carry-out. The EZYwinch pole eliminates the use of any cranes or hoists to lift the poles and equipment and an be handled by two men. The Poles are secured to the footing by unique security fixings that prevent tampering of the pole at the base plate. A detachable winch neatly attaches to the lower section of the pole where a steel cable is then secured internally within the pole via a pulley system; the which then allows a single operator to easily lower the pole to the ground where installation and maintenance of the system can be easily carried out. EZYfoot is a quick and environmentally friendly solution to install any type of pole. Typical concrete footings require a few days curing time before the poles can be installed; The EZYfoot system however now allows full installation of the entire lighting system within 1 hours. Up to six steel tubes are driven in through the plate in various angles; It cleverly spreads its foundation over a greater surface area without need of any excavation and unnecessary disturbance to vegetation.
