Please note that this importation certificate is not transferable to a third party. 2. Food Contact Status 21 CFR FDA Regulations TEGO Twin 4000 complies with FDA Regulation 21 CFR (adhesives) provided that the adhesive is used in compliance with TEGO Twin 4000 also complies with FDA Regulation 21 CFR (defoaming agents used in the manufacture of paper and paperboard) under the provision that the maximum concentration of TEGO Twin 4000 should not exceed 200 g per ton dry pulp. Swiss Ordinance (SR ( ) TEGO Twin 4000 is listed with respect to its monomers / additives / solvents and polymers in the Ordinance of the FDHA on Materials and Articles (SR ) - status 1 May in Annex 6 (Art. 26g and 26i - status 25 November 2009) lists of permitted substances for the manufacture of packaging inks and requirements applicable to these substances, with respect to the components of TEGO Twin 4000 in the lists for not evaluated (B) substances. For further information like possible SML (Specific Migration Limit) or restrictions you are welcome to contact us. Finished food contact materials or articles containing this product as a component, need to comply inter alia with Overall Migration Limit (OML) requirements. Verification of compliance with migration limits (OML and SML) should be carried out in accordance with the rules laid down there. We would like to point out that it is in the sole responsibility of the manufacturer of the final material or article to assure the compliance with the OML requirements under actual and foreseeable conditions of use, and to check it on a regular basis. 3 The manufacturer of food contact materials or articles, containing this product as a component, must in particular ascertain that these finished materials or articles meet the general regulatory requirement that they do not endanger human health, or bring about an unacceptable change in the composition of the food or deterioration in the organoleptic characteristics thereof. REACH Information (Pre-) ) Registration Many of our products are mixtures consisting of substances we manufacture or substances which are blended in. You can be sure that we are aware of our obligations, which also include the communication to our suppliers concerning the purchased substances and monomers in order to secure that further marketing of the affected products is allowed in compliance with REACH. Since the substances of a mixture often are subject of different registration deadlines, a general statement concerning registration status of a product can currently not be made. SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) We as a supplier of substances or mixtures are obliged to provide a safety data sheet which includes information if the product contains a Substance of Very High Concern in reportable amounts according REACH. Additional Information VOC-content The volatile organic content (determination of the non volatile components at 3h / 105 C) of TEGO Twin 4000 is 57 g/ltr. Please take account of the fact that the volatile organic contents are determined always on an arbitrarily selected batch and are no component of our product specification.
