5 Why Indaver believes that timing is right More than 90% of plastics today are produced from fossil fuel feedstock and plastics production gives rise to approximately 400 million tonnes of GHG emissions per year (2012) globally. 10 Indaver P2C O&O project Thermochemical Conversion of End-of-Life Plastics to Chemical Feedstocks Collection and sorting Recycling proces Chemical feedstock to applications To enhance the knowledge base on plastics processing including: 1-pretreatment, 2-cracking and 3-downstream processing in order to design and construct a plastics waste to chemicals industrial plant. The focus will be on plastics not suitable for mechanical recycling avoiding incineration thus improving plastics circular footprint.
