Come and learn our vision for these products and be part of the solution by providing feedback and ideas on how these products will be used. We will begin by discussing the kinds of integration that can be achieved, provide some examples, and then go into a few details on how to achieve them. The ISR methods of the last decade have focused on non-nation-state/small-arm contingencies, but may be moving back towards more traditional nation-state threats. Emergency responder Thursday 10am to 11:30am, Room 3907 Learn how the GXP Platform supports the emergency management mission by combining various geospatial tools and data types to produce a wide variety of products. These products support the emergency management workflow, which consists of four phases: mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The GXP Platform provides the emergency manager with the ability to protect their community. Five Eyes Session Thursday 3:00pm to 5:00pm, Scripps 1&2 An unclassified CLOSED session for Five Eyes (US/UK/CA/AU/NZ) military, government, and industry attendees. This session will provide a forum for attendees to present and discuss UNCLASSIFIED GEOINT projects across the Five Eyes alliance. 19 Workshops Workshop 1 Geospatial production workflows in SOCET GXP Tuesday 3:15pm to 4:45pm, Scripps 1&2 Thursday 10:00am to 11:30am, Grande Ballroom D This session will demonstrate how several key tools and software packages, including GXP Xplorer and the Workflow Improvement Module (WIM), can be linked together to incorporate additional imagery over specific areas of interest and complete geospatial workflows in SOCET GXP. Specifically, attendees will gain valuable insight into the collection of feature data with the Stereo Model Manager, as well as further details around auto attribution with Spatially Enabled Exploitation (SEE) and SOCET for ArcGIS (SFA). Workshop 2 SOCET GXP for Hyperspectral Image/Multispectral Image (HSI/MSI) analysis Wednesday 10:15am to 11:45am, Learn how to exploit new commercial multispectral bands using SOCET GXP. As new shortwave and nearinfrared bands are introduced into commercial imagery, SOCET GXP can leverage these bands to glean additional information from an image using built-in algorithms and simple band math. Workshop 3 Photogrammetric workflows with SOCET GXP Wednesday 3:15pm to 4:45pm, Grande Ballroom D Thursday 1:00pm to 2:30pm, Grande Ballroom E Join a detailed discussion on how to most effectively perform image triangulation, terrain generation, feature extraction, and ortho-rectification to complete an end-to-end photogrammetric workflow and create a True-Ortho product using SOCET GXP. We recommend that you attend Triangulation 101 (workshop 11) Wednesday at 1:15pm before attending this session if you are unfamiliar with the basics of triangulation. Workshop 4 SOCET GXP workflows supporting tactical operations Wednesday 10:15am to 11:45am, Grande Ballroom D Thursday 3:00pm to 4:30pm, Grande Ballroom D Gain additional insight into how the WIM, Grid Reference Graphics (GRG), and Full Motion Video (FMV), along with general data sharing support a successful Tactical Operations Center (TOC) and field expedient environment. Real-world scenarios will be discussed in order to demonstrate workflows that enable users to more rapidly collect, create, and distribute actionable intelligence. Workshop 5 GEOINT for first responders Wednesday 1:15pm to 2:45pm, Grande Ballroom D Dive into the emerging world of geospatial intelligence for the first responder community by examining new techniques and technologies, such as GRGs and GXP Mobile applications. Attendees will learn how GXP solutions can leverage these technologies to develop and deliver clear and concise information during a crisis situation to everyone from the central emergency commanders to the first responders in the field. Workshop 6 The GXP Platform Enabling enhanced analysis / C3 hub for data Tuesday 3:15pm to 4:45pm, Thursday 3:00pm to 4:30pm, Grande Ballroom E The GXP Platform is a powerful tool that can be used during every phase of the intelligence lifecycle, from data discovery to the completion of a product. Learn how each of the components, including GXP Xplorer, GXP WebView, and GXP InMotion, can be leveraged in this process. 20 Workshops (continued) Workshop 7 Creating terrain models and exploiting LiDAR with SOCET GXP Wednesday 10:15am to 11:45am, Scripps 1&2 This workshop explores the capabilities of LiDAR point cloud exploitation in SOCET GXP. Through a combination of demonstration and user engagement, participants will step through the basics of importing LiDAR point clouds to create various terrain expressions, move into the extraction of 3-D buildings utilizing Automatic Feature Extraction (AFE), and then merge terrain data into a single Digital Surface Model (DSM) that can either be used for advanced terrain visualization analysis or exported into other applications. Workshop 8 Workflow improvements / solving an intelligence problem powered by SOCET GXP and the GXP Platform Wednesday 1:15pm to 2:45pm, Scripps 1&2 Attendees will learn how to enable Object-Based Production (OBP) workflows to feed Structured Observation Management (SOM) data stores that drive advanced analytics. This demonstration will illustrate how to quickly triage imagery, exploit relevant data, seamlessly connect SOCET GXP to various data sources (Esri, PostGIS feature geodatabases, and OGC WFS-T), and contribute and disseminate timely geospatial information and products across an enterprise. Workshop 9 Full Motion Video (FMV) analytics powered by Tracking Analytics Software Suite (TASS) and GXP InMotion Wednesday 3:15pm to 4:45pm, Take command of your entire video processing, exploitation, and dissemination workflow. Learn how to leverage the GXP InMotion Video Server for mission management (in a global enterprise environment) and capitalize on the GXP InMotion Desktop application, which is designed for every level of the video analyst s workflow - from simple viewing and screen capture to full video editing. This session will also cover the integration of TASS, which provides innovative tracking of Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) and FMV data, into the GXP Platform. Workshop 10 Research and Development (R&D) Wednesday 3:15pm to 4:45pm, Scripps 1&2 Thursday 10:00am to 11:30am, Scripps 1&2 GXP continuously executes small R&D projects in advance of formal implementation into delivered software. This workshop provides an intriguing preview of ongoing work on several topics including:» Four-Dimensional Environment Collection Application (4DECA): A remote sensing phone app that makes use of GXP InMotion video exploitation for 2-D and 3-D exploitation.» Processing of imagery collected from small unmanned aerial systems (UAS): Continuation of work on triangulating images taken from unstable platforms with consumer or prosumer cameras (this approach can be extended to images from handheld cameras for example, for crime scene reconstruction).» Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR): InSAR processing makes use of two or more SAR data collections over the same region of interest, synthetically interfered with one another in order to derive various products (for example, to highlight change or identify subsidence).
