To set the nut, it is screwed onto the threaded mandre of the setting too, inserted into the component borehoe, and set through the too stroe. This causes the cosing bead of the nut to form. After the threaded mandre is removed, the components can be screwed tight. For instaing the nut, various toos are avaiabe with which the procedure can be carried out carefuy. Setting toos operated by musce power or by pneumatic hydrauics which can be seected. 8 Specia Bind Rivet Nuts Pressure tight - bind rivet nut with sprayed sea Based on the increasing demand of gas- and waterproofed fasteners with threads, HONSEL deveoped a cosed end bind rivet nut with an additiona sea made of automotive certified materia that combined these requirements with the advantages of an economic and process secure machining. The sprayed and embedded sea on the bottom of the head guarantees a much better form cosure than conventiona o-rings. The hexagon shaft avoids any ris of rotation and offers higher camping forces. An additiona arge head with a great bearing aocates of the forces on soft materias equay. HONSEL s HOCHFEST technoogy enabes the carrying capacity of the thread to be increased greaty.
