1 1/1 DATA SHEET GIZA LED extrusion article number B5556 Product characteristics The extrusion made from high quality, double-anodized aluminum is designed for a maximum of two flexible or rigid LED strips that are 8-10 mm wide. LEDs can be hidden behind multiple cover options: HS22 (frosted or clear) made of polycarbonate or the semicircular shape G-L or square shape G-K, made of polymethyl methacrylate. The HS22 cover is certified for excellent resistance to all weather conditions and UV radiation and is flame retardant. Standard polypropylene end caps are used for the extrusion as supplementary accessories. End caps protect the extrusion from dust and other undesirable elements, which can make LED strips dirty and consequently deteriorate the lighting parameters. GIL and GIZAT end caps, as well as their metallic versions, GIL MET and GIZAT MET (do not let light through, which is their unquestionable advantage) are used only with G-L and G-K covers respectively. KOMPENSA-L and KOMPENSA-K end caps can be applied with the GIZA end caps and, respectively, with G-L and G-K covers. The extrusion can be mounted to surfaces with the use of double-sided adhesive tape, mounting glue or screws which guarantee easy and secure mounting of the extrusion to a desired surface. Installation of the profile in drywall is performed using special GP springs. If you would like to mount the profile in an Armstrong drop ceiling with the use of GP springs, then the use of special safety washers (42712) is recommended. Additionally, it can be mounted in the TEKNIK profile, using dedicated fasteners (we recommend three pairs per meter of the profile). The TEKNIK profile allows for the construction of precise slots (grooves) in the surfaces of walls and drywall ceilings. ZM connectors are used for straight (ZM-180) and angle connections of KLUŚ profiles fitted with a small fastener and to stabilize the ends of the profiles mounted in lines (in a plane parallel to the cover, at an angle of 90 O and 135 O - ZM-90 and ZM-135, as well as in a plane perpendicular to the cover at the angle of 90 O and 135 O - ZMPION-90 and ZMPION-135). For mounting and power supply of extrusions the elements from the mounting system which, together with the optional accessories presented on can be used. Applications The architectural extrusion with the LED light source is ideal for creating light illuminations indoors. The possibility of getting a single line of light, thanks to the frosted cover G-K or G-L, makes this extrusion fit all kinds of arrangements very well. Due to the possibility of installing two strips inside the extrusion, it can be used as a primary energy-efficient light source.
