2 Accessories for shower/commode chair Hemiplegia armrest Hemiplegia armrests with soft PU padding. Can be folded up and removed. The PU pillow can be mounted in two depths using a hexagonal key. This makes it possible to move the PU pillow 4 cm further back towards user, if required. Hemiplegia armrests can be mounted on most of the chairs. Hemiplegia armrest is ideal for users with hemiplegia, paraplegia, tetraplegia and others who need extra support at the forearms. It is standard on these chairs: M2 gas-tip, M2 el-tip, M2 Flexi-Tip, M2 Multi-tip, M2 El-tip wide, M2 small, M2 200 KG, M2 300 KG & M2 mini. Against an extra charge the armrests can be delivered with fast release locks on. They can only be delivered on armrests with PU foam pillows. It is standard on these chairs: M2 gas-tip, M2 el-tip, M2 Flexi-Tip, M2 El-tip wide, M2 Multi-Tip & M2 Mini. On other chairs it has to be ordered as an extra. M2-Tip chairs can be delivered with 100 mm wheels if you want lower seat height. 125 mm wheel. It is standard on: M2-Tip chairs. Can against an extra charge be delivered on ordinary M2 Standard and M2 small. It gives easier handling of the chair and higher seat height. Directional controlling wheels: To all models of M2 (except for M2 24 ) we can supply as accessories directional controlling wheels. These wheels can be locked, so they will only drive straight forward. (These wheels are not possible to brake. They can always roll forward.) This makes it easier to start pushing the chair and it will be easier to push the chair straight forward. It is mainly recommended when there is a heavy user in the chair and when you have to drive the chair through long corridors, and where the foundation isn t in level. All chairs with tilt in space function or chairs with user weight above 150kg have one directional controlled wheel as standard. 125 mm directional wheel It is standard on: M2-Tip chairs. 24 Accessories for shower/commode chairs Amputation supports The amputation supports can be mounted on all of our M2 models. They are mounted the same way as the standard footrests. The support plates are made in soft PU foam. Despite the softness of the support plates, they still manage to give the stability and support needed. The user weight is 150 kg. The angle can easily be adjusted by a simple press of a button on the outside of the amputation support. It has five angles and can be adjusted from horizontal and down. 23

As standard each leg rest comes with one calf rest. The calf rest can be adjusted in the length of the leg rest with a finger screw. Fits all M2 chairs from December 2000 and newer. The leg support can be used on all M2 shower/commode chairs, and it exists in two sizes: standard and XL. The leg support is recommended for all the tip-chairs, as it prevents the legs to slide backwards from the foot supports, while being tipped. The leg support is depth adjustable and can be washed in a washing machine. As an alternative one can choose to get heel stops mounted onto the foot supports. It prevents the feet to slide backwards of the footplates. The footplates can still be pushed aside with the heel straps mounted. 27

36 Accessories for shower/commode chairs Urine funnel/splash Guard Plastic Urine Funnel is for persons who have problems urinating into the toilet. Wash at max. 80 degrees Celsius. The Urine Funnel is used by placing the narrow end facing down towards the toilet, so as to help prevent the persons from urinating on the floor or on the toilet seat. The Splash Guard is for people having trouble getting the beam directed down in the toilet / bucket. The Splash Guard is firmly mounted on the seat.
