2 Etac Cross 5 when every little detail makes a big difference The Etac Cross 5 combines maximum comfort with optimum functionality. The chassis' unique stability means that the Cross 5 responds rapidly while propelling and turning. Both backrest and seat are adjustable in height, angle and shape. In combination with footrests which can be altered in height, depth and angle, this produces the stability that is the prerequisite for mobility. When every little detail makes a big difference The entirely new side frame also offers numerous improved functions toward better sitting positions and manoeuvrability. Thanks to the enormous range of variation options there is an Etac Cross 5 for everyone: short and long narrow and wide. If needs change, the Cross 5 can be simply reset or supplemented with products from our wide range of accessories. 3 Features rear wheel positions The rear wheels can be fitted in four different positions in each hole. This provides vastly improved options for setting the rear seat height. Simple brake settings Brake settings are carried out on the outside making it easier to adjust. Extra low seat height Fitting a 20" rear wheel in the upper row, gives a seat height of 34 cm (13 1/3"). Higher user weight The cross brace is reinforced and enables 135 kg user weight (297 lbs). Anti-tips that can handle all seat heights The anti-tip is telescopic and foldable. It can be set for seat heights between 34 and 50 cm (13½" 19½"). Good balance and the right seat height 38 possible propulsion wheel positions make it possible to adjust the seat height from 34 cm to 50 cm (13" 19½"). Less distance between steps in wheel settings both horizontally and vertically ensures perfect balance and propulsion. Etac Cross 5 wheelchair 3

4 Etac Cross back support 3A with maximum support The shape of a back support is important in order to provide maximum stability, comfort and freedom of movement. Good balance and stability also reduce the risk of sliding forwards in the seat. Cross back support 3A has several easy adjustment options. Adjustments are easy to make, and can be made with the person sitting in the wheelchair. Adjustable seat depth The 3A back support enables the hip and lumbar angles to be set to extend the seat depth by up to 7 cm (2¾"). Requires additional seat extender. Customising the upholstery The upholstery comes with six adjustable Velcro straps. The upper strap is wider, for increased comfort and stability. Elasticated cover The soft plush cover is elasticated and flexible. It has no velcro, but fastens directly to the upholstery, making washing easy. 5 Cross 5 XL Cross 5 XL has the same qualities and functions as the Cross 5. To withstand tougher requirements, the back support is equipped with a foldable cross brace and the front forks are reinforced. Cross 5 XL is available in seat widths up to 60 cm and the maximum user weight is 160 kg. It has the same adjustment possibilities and large accessory program as Cross 5. It is also available with attendant brakes. Attendant brakes Etac Cross 5 and Cross 5 XL can be equipped with attendant brakes which make handling easier for the person who is pushing, providing safety for both the user and the carer.
