11 TAS Module PRODUCT OFFERINGS The TAS-0502 is the primary offering for use at 240 VAC The TAS can only be used with a communications main frame The TAS provides alarm output with the SSM, DSS and CSS and standby heat with CSS and DSS FEATURES A built-in audible alert can be activated when a module is in an alarm state A front panel connector can be used to activate external equipment during an alarm state A switch on the front panel can force up to 64 DSS-150x and/or CSS- 150x modules to 93 ºC Upon turning the switch off, the modules return to their normal setpoints

12 TAS Module CONTROLLER COMPATIBILITY SSM The TAS will provide an alarm when the controller is more than +/- 22º C from setpoint The SSM is NOT standby heat compatible DSS-1502 and CSS-1502 The TAS will provide an alarm output when the controller is more than +/- 17 ºC from setpoint or during a diagnostic alarm (i.e., shorted thermocouple) The TAS can order up to 64 DSS and/or CSS (total) to 93 ºC during idle periods. The TAS is NOT compatible with the earlier versions of CSS and DSS identified with the part numbers CSS-15G and DSS-15G SSM, DSS-1502, CSS-1502 False low alarms are inhibited during startup
