1 put barcode here page 1 of 13 Description The following pages show the steps required to assemble and fit the antenna mount to a vertical tower pipe of diameter 48 to 115 mm (1.9 to 4.5"). This mount provides ±12 azimuth or ±15 elevation adjustment. Notice The installation, maintenance, or removal of antenna systems requires qualified, experienced personnel. Andrew installation instructions have been written for such personnel. Antenna systems should be inspected once a year by qualified personnel to verify proper installation, maintenance, and condition of equipment. Andrew disclaims any liability or responsibility for the results of improper or unsafe installation practices.! Warning: Use protective wear to avoid skin contact with the pre-applied conductive grease on threads. Keep away from mouth. Wash thoroughly after use with liberal amounts of liquid soap and rinse with water. Do not store open near food or food sources. 2 page 2 of 13 Assembling the Mount the antenna may be assembled with the mounts on the right or the left side of the poles as shown. The image shown can vary from product to product. Assembly Strengthening Strut Strengthening Strut For mounts assembled on the Left Hand Side - the strengthening strut item (R) is fitted to the Bottom of Reflector Backing Ring, as shown. For mounts assembled on the Right Hand Side - the strengthening strut item (R) is fitted to the Top of the Reflector Backing Ring, as shown.

Fit the mounting bracket (Q) to the backing ring using fixing (N) tighten bolts to the recommended torque. 2. Fit the panning frame assy (G) to the mounting bracket (Q) using the fixings (N) tighten the bolts to the recommended torque. L.H.S. Mount only. 3. Fit the Strengthening Strut (R) to Mount using fixings (N) tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

5 page 5 of 13 Attaching the Elevation Adjuster I APPLY GREASE TO THREADS TORQUE TO 38Nm G ENSURE ELEVATION ADJUSTER IS FITTED AT TOP OF MOUNT Fit elevation adjuster (I) to the position shown on the mount (G). Tighten all bolts and nuts to the elevation adjuster securely enough to allow for rotational movement whilst remaining securly attached.

7 page 7 of 13 Lifting the Antenna Mount on L.H.S. WARNING Never walk under hoisted loads 1. Lift the Antenna using the hoisting hole located on the backing ring Attach Antenna to the pole Attach Mount to pole using U-Bolts, once in approximate position, fully tighten U-Bolts to recommeded torque.

Attach Mount to pole using U-Bolts, once in approximate position, fully tighten U-Bolts to recommeded torque. 2. Attach Strenthening Strut (R) to Mount using Fixings (N) tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

9 Attaching the Azimuth Adjuster 'A' S E page 9 of 13 H APPLY GREASE TO THREADS APPROVED STRUCTURAL SUPPORT ENSURE BRACKET AND NUT ARE BOLTED RIGIDLY TOGETHER WITH APPROVED STRUCTURAL SUPPORT AS SHOWN. (VIEWED FROM ARROW 'A') BRACKET STRUT TO BE LOOSELY FITTED UNTIL ALIGNMENT IS COMPLETE THEN TIGHTEN FIXINGS TO RECOMMENDED TORQUE. APPROVED STRUCTURAL SUPPORT NUT TO BE TIGHT TO BRACKET AND APPROVED STRUCTURAL SUPPORT 1. Assemble Brackets (E) together with Fixings (N), attach to Reflector Assembly, as shown with Fixings (N). 2. Attach Strut Pipe (S) to Bracket with Fixing (N) 3. Attach the Azimuth Adjuster (H) to the Strut Pipe (S). 4. Attach the Azimuth Adjuster (H) to approved structural support using the Clamp Bracket fitted on Azimth Adjuster.

Assemble Bracket (E) and Fixings (N), attach to Reflector Assembly, 2. Attach Strut Pipe (S) to Bracket with Fixing (N) 3. Attach the Clamp Bracket (H) to the Strut Pipe (S). 4. Attach the Clamp Bracket (H) to approved structural support using the Pipe Clamp Bracket. 5. Ensure Brackets and Nuts are bolted rigidly together as shown on previous page.

11 page 11 of 13 Antenna set-up and alignment Adjusting the Antenna in Elevation TORQUE TO 38Nm ELEVATION ADJUSTMENT ±15 ENSURE SAFETY BRACKET IS SECURELY FITTED AT ALL TIMES LOOSEN NUT/BOLT BEFORE ELEVATION ADJUSTMENT - RETORQUE TO 38Nm 1. Loosen the 5 bolts on the Panning Frame Assembly enough to allow for rotational movement while remaining securley attached. 2. Loosen the nuts on the Fine Elevation Adjuster and adjust the antennas signal, until the optimum signal is found. Tighten the nut on the Fine Adjuster by hand. 3. Re-torque fixings once adjustemnt is complete.

12 Adjusting the Antenna in Azimuth page 12 of 13 Note: Strengthening Strut (R) must be fitted prior to adjsutment. AZIMUTH ADJUSTMENT LOOSEN NUTS ON ±12 U-BOLT BEFORE AZ. ADJUSTMENT - RETORQUE TO 38Nm LOOSEN NUTS ON BRACKETS BEFORE AZ. ADJUSTMENT - RETORQUE TO 38Nm 1. Loosen the U-Bolts enough to allow for rotational movement around the pole, while remaining securley attached. 2. Loosen the nuts on the Azimuth adjuster and adjust the antennas signal, until the optimum signal is found. Tighten the nut on the fine adjuster by hand. 3. Re-torque fixings once adjustemnt is complete. 4. Repeat ELEVATION and AZIMUTH adjustments until optimum signal is found.

13 page 13 of 13 Side Strut & Clamp Bracket installation NOTE: The side strut must be attached pointing directly behind the antenna within the angular limits shown in the illustrations. Attaching the clamp bracket to the side strut 25 Clamp Bracket on Azimuth Adjuster S Approved structural support 1. Tighten M12 U-Bolt sufficiently to allow for movement whilst remaining securely attached
