Prepare Machine 1. Park machine on a level surface. 2. Turn off PTO switch. 3. Lock park brake. 4. Stop engine and remove the key. 5. Wait for the engine and all moving parts to stop before you leave the operator s seat. MX Remove two bolts () and the existing center link support bracket (). iscard the bracket and hardware. 10.Remove the tank plug (). nstall oupler racket R c UTON: void injury! ydraulic fluid is under pressure. scaping fluid can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Protect hands and body. Relieve all pressure before checking hydraulic hoses. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. o not use hands to check hoses. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. T Q S P L M O N 6. Relieve hydraulic pressure from the system by lowering the rockshaft. 7. Remove negative battery cable. 8. Remove the seat assembly. K MX nstall new center link support bracket () using M8 x 16 hex flanged capscrews (). 2. nstall the SMV bracket socket () using round head bolts () and M8 hex flanged nuts (). 3. nstall the center link support spring () into the weldment on the center link support bracket (). Slide washer () onto center link support spring (), and secure with cotter pin (). 2 LVU

3 NOT: f this power beyond kit is being added to a machine already equipped with a diverter coupler kit, install all the power beyond components to the diverter coupler bracket already installed on the machine. The new coupler bracket () supplied in the kit will not be used. 4. nstall the coupler bracket () using M8 x 20 hex flanged capscrews () and M8 hex flanged nuts (K). 5. nstall the 3/4 in. bulkhead fitting (L) into the left hole of the coupler bracket, and secure with a 3/4 in. bulkhead nut (M). 6. nstall the 3/8 in. male coupler (N) and 3/8 in. dust cap (O) on the 3/4 in. bulkhead fitting (L). Tighten to 46 N m (34 lb-ft). 7. nstall the 1 in. bulkhead fitting (P) in the bottom right hole of the coupler bracket, and secure with the 1 in. bulkhead nut (Q). 8. nstall the 1/2 in. female coupler (R) in the top right hole of the coupler bracket, and secure with the snap ring (S). 9. nstall the straight ORS adapter (T) in the 1/2 in. female coupler (R). Tighten to 46 N m (34 lb-ft). this bracket. 2. nstall backup alarm to bracket. MX13223 MX13261 With power beyond kit only, insert backup alarm () from rear of the power beyond coupler bracket () in mounting location (). Move ackup larm NOT: f the power beyond kit is added to a machine equipped with a backup alarm kit, but not a diverter coupler kit, move the backup alarm from the ROPS bracket to the power beyond coupler bracket. f the power beyond kit is added to a machine equipped with a backup alarm kit and a diverter coupler kit, move the backup alarm from the ROPS bracket to the diverter coupler bracket. When installing the backup alarm on the power beyond or diverter coupler bracket, wiring harness extension LV12039 must be ordered. MX13223 LV25087 With power beyond kit and diverter kit, install backup alarm on the left side of the diverter coupler bracket () in mounting location (). 3. nstall collar. 4. onnect wiring harness extension connector () to connector on backup alarm harness. 5. onnect wiring harness extension connector () to alarm harness on machine wiring harness. 6. Secure wiring harness extension () to power beyond coupler bracket () or diverter coupler bracket () with tie straps (). MX Remove collar () from backup alarm (), and remove the alarm from the original bracket. Remove and discard 3 LVU

4 Move Rear Trailer onnector NOT: f the power beyond kit is added to a machine equipped with a rear trailer connector kit, but not a diverter coupler kit, move the rear trailer connector from the ROPS bracket to the power beyond coupler bracket. f the power beyond kit is added to a machine equipped with a rear trailer connector kit and a diverter coupler kit, move the rear trailer connector from the ROPS bracket to the diverter coupler bracket. 1. Remove rear trailer connector with bracket from the ROPS bracket. 2. nstall the rear trailer connector with bracket. ssemble ydraulic ose c UTON: void injury! o not install metric hydraulic fittings into female couplers. emale couplers use S hydraulic fittings. SV housings use metric hydraulic fittings. 1. dentify the metric fittings. Metric fittings have a recessed shoulder () behind the hex nut. NOT: Make sure adapter O-rings and face seals are properly installed. MX13261 With power beyond kit only, install rear trailer connector with bracket on the left side of the power beyond coupler bracket () in holes () using existing M6 x 20 capscrews and M6 nuts. MX nstall a 90 elbow fitting () and 1/2 in. dust cap () on the straight end of the hydraulic hose (). Tighten to 69 N m (51 lb-ft). 3. nstall the 1/2 in. male coupler () on the 90 elbow fitting (). Tighten to 46 N m (34 lb-ft). LV25087 With power beyond kit and diverter kit, install rear trailer connector with bracket on the left side of the diverter coupler bracket () in holes () using existing M6 x 20 capscrews and M6 nuts. 4 LVU

5 nstall ydraulic Lines c UTON: void injury! ydraulic fluid is under pressure. scaping fluid can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Protect hands and body. MX nstall the 90 hose end () on the 1 in. bulkhead fitting (). Tighten to 69 N m (51 lb-ft). 5. onnect the 1/2 in. male coupler () to the 1/2 in. female coupler (). NOT: Some machines do not have a Rockshaft ontrol Valve (RV) filter assembly installed. f your machine does not have an RV filter assembly installed, begin installation at step three and disconnect the single hydraulic line below the seat area as shown. nstall the RV filter assembly included in the kit. Loosening the hydraulic fittings will cause hydraulic oil to leak. Place a rag or paper towel under each fitting to absorb any dripping oil. MX Locate the Rockshaft ontrol Valve (RV) filter assembly () just below the center link support weldment. 2. isconnect both hydraulic lines (), and remove the filter assembly (). 5 LVU

6 K MX isconnect the hydraulic lines () and () located just below the seat area. MX nstall replacement O-rings in the SV outlet () and the RV outlet (K). 7. onnect the hydraulic line () to the SV outlet (). 8. onnect the hydraulic line () to the RV outlet (K). MX onnect hydraulic lines (), () and () as shown. o not tighten hydraulic line nuts at this time. MPORTNT: void damage! The end of the filter assembly stamped with the word out must be installed onto a specific hydraulic line. 5. Replace O-rings on both ends of the RV filter. nstall the RV filter assembly () between hydraulic lines () and () with the stamped word out facing the hydraulic line (). o not tighten tube nuts at this time. MX nstall the metric elbow fitting (L) in the transmission tank port. Tighten to 50 N m (37 lb-ft). 10.onnect the hydraulic line () to the metric elbow fitting (L). Tighten both ends of the hydraulic line () to 50 N m (37 lb-ft). 11.Tighten hydraulic lines () and () to the RV filter to 50 N m (37 lb-ft). 12.Tighten hydraulic lines () and () to the 1 in. bulkhead fitting and the straight adapter to 69 N m (51 lb-ft). 7 nstall nstruction Label nstall SMV Sign MPORTNT: void damage! Prevent overheating of the hydraulic system and damage to other internal hydraulic components. Read instructions before operating. When not using the power beyond for operating a rear mounted attachment, the hydraulic hose end with the male quick connector must be connected to the female quick-connect coupler. LVU13905, MX nstall label LVU13905 () at location () on the power beyond coupler bracket. MX Slide the SMV bracket () into the SMV bracket socket (). NOT: To prevent mounting the SMV sign too low, fasten the SMV sign to the SMV bracket while installed in the SMV bracket socket. 2. ttach the SMV sign () to the SMV bracket () with two self-tapping screws () and two plastic grommets (). 3. onnect negative battery cable. 4. heck the transmission oil level. dd oil if necessary. 5. Start the engine. 6. ycle the rockshaft control lever forward and rearward several times, and check for leaks. 7. Stop the engine. 8. heck the transmission oil level. dd oil if necessary. 9. nstall the seat assembly. 7 LVU

8 Using Power eyond ttachment nstalled to the Power eyond c UTON: void injury! ydraulic fluid is under pressure. scaping fluid can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Protect hands and body. Relieve all pressure before checking hydraulic hoses. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. o not use hands to check hoses. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. 3. Lower the rockshaft completely to relieve hydraulic pressure from the system. MX isconnect the 1/2 in. male coupler (). 2. nstall the 1/2 in. dust cap () on the 1/2 in. male coupler (). 3. onnect the 1/2 in. male coupler from the attachment to the 1/2 in. female coupler. 4. onnect the 3/8 in. female coupler from the attachment to the 3/8 in. male coupler (). ttachment Not nstalled to the Power eyond MPORTNT: void damage! Prevent overheating of the hydraulic system and damage to other internal hydraulic components. Read instructions before operating. Replacing the Rockshaft ontrol Valve ilter NOT: Replace the filter element after first 50 hours of operation; then every 200 hours of operation. 1. Park the machine on a level surface. Lock the park brake. 2. Stop the engine and remove the key. MX isconnect both hydraulic lines () and (). 5. Remove the filter assembly (). NOT: Use care when disassembling the filter assembly. nternal components are spring-loaded. MX arefully remove the threaded fitting (). Remove spring (), filter element () and spring () from the filter housing (). 7. nspect external rubber O-ring () and recessed O-rings () for damage or cracking. Replace if necessary. 8. Replace the filter element (), and clean the remaining components with a mild solvent. 9. ssemble the filter. 8 LVU

9 MPORTNT: void damage! The end of the filter assembly stamped with the word out must be installed onto a specific hydraulic line. 10.nstall the filter assembly (). nsure that the stamped word out faces the hydraulic line (). 11.Tighten hydraulic line nuts to 50 N m (37 lb-ft). 12.Start the engine. 13.ycle the rockshaft control lever forward and rearward several times, and check all connections for leaks. 14.Stop the engine. 15.heck the transmission oil level. dd oil if necessary. 9 LVU
