This designation corresponds to the nominal diameter and thread size of the pipe in which the valve can be connected without intermediate fittings Flow (qv): volume of water through the valve per unit of time. Reference speed (vref): flow rate through the valve calculated from the flow through the valve and divided by the reference section of the components. Maximum work pressure : Maximum static water pressure immediately upstream of the valve can withstand. Minimum work pressure: minimum static water pressure upstream of the valve requires the valve to operate. Minimum operating pressure (activation): minimum static water pressure in the activation chamber is required to fully activate the operating mechanism. In the event that the activation chamber is activated by pressure from the valve inlet, then the minimum operating pressure (Activation) is equal to the minimum working pressure. Working Pressure Range: The pressure between the maximum and minimum working. Nominal duration of opening or closing: period since the time the control valve is actuated to open or close the valve completely. Valve normally open (NO) valve remains open unless the pressure applied to the minimum switch operating mechanism. SOLUTION Open the isolating valves. Valve does not open. There is not enough pressure in the valve inlet. Membrane failed. For valves with reverse flow. Membrane assembly is not operating properly. Solenoid calcified. Examine the system isolation valves upstream and downstream. Remove the lid and examine the membrane. Examine the membrane. Remove the solenoid and check your core. Isolating valves open system to allow passage of water (pressure). Replace the membrane. Clean and replace parts as necessary. Clean and replace parts as necessary. Pilot is not set properly. Tighten and loosen the adjuster screw driver. See if pilot reaction. Re-adjust the pilot. Valve does not regulate at the desired point of control. Speed of opening and / or closing are not adjusted properly. Conditions required control outside the pilot spring range. Filter is clogged. Manually close the valve and see if the problem persists. Inspect the diaphragm and see if damaged. Replace worn or defective components. Clean the filter screen. Clear obstruction or replace hydraulic fitting. Replace the membrane. Clean and replace parts as necessary. Fully open the valve to clean the area. Replace the membrane.
