1 ICP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS manual outside air hood / filter (NPMANDPR004A00) (NPMANDPR005A00) and (NPMANDPR006A00) The package includes the outside air hood, the filter access door and the filter. This package can be used in both a down and horizontal discharge application. Down Discharge (outside air hood) 1. Unpack outside air package. 2. Locate the angle for the door latch, ILL. 1. the angle to the side of the duct flange through pre-punched holes, ILL.1A. 3. Gasket mating flanges on new access door/. Install over horizontal return opening. hinge on to, ILL Caulk mating flange on manual outside air hood. hood in place over the opening in access door/, ILL. 1. Close door and latch tight. Install provided filter access sticker on hinged for down discharge. 6. Adjust damper blade inside hood for proper air intake volume, ILL Be sure seal is watertight. Caulk as required. Filter access sticker. 2 Horizontal Application (outside air hood) ILL. 3 Horizontal Application: Access filters through side on Horizontal supply duct field supplied Side on Screen removed from replacement 8" 8" Filter access sticker. Install here for horizontal Horizontal return duct field supplied 8" X 8" field cut opening in horizontal return duct Replacement 1. Field manufacture horizontal supply and return duct and attach to. 2. Cut 8" X 8" opening on the side of return duct. 3. Remove screen (hardware cloth) from replacement, ILL.4. Discard. 4. Mount screen over 8" X 8" cutout. 5. Caulk mating flanges on manual outside air hood and screw to duct over screen. 6. Adjust damper blade inside hood for proper air intake volume. Attach filter access sticker to side on. 7. Be sure seal is water tight caulk as required. Screen removed for horizontal ILL. 4

3 Filter Rack Installation (Down and Horizontal) -- Small Cabinet: 1. Unpack top and bottom filter s and filters. Remove side on. 2. Install bottom. Slide over to left side (when facing coil) of. Set in front of coil and screw to coil frame through prepunched hole. Maximum screw length 1/2". 3. Install top. Bend right side flange 90 o, ILL. 5. Slide over to left side of. Set in front of coil and screw to coil frame. Maximum screw length 1/2". Use a 1" long screw through the 90 o bent flange and into 's divider. 4. If using 2" wide filter remove spacer, ILL Open filter clips on top to install filter. 6. To change filter: Down discharge: Open hinged door with hood. Horizontal discharge: Remove side on. 4 Filter Rack Installation (Down and Horizontal) -- Large Cabinet: 1. Unpack top and bottom filter s, blank-off and filters. Remove side on. 2. Install bottom. Slide over to right side (when facing coil) of. Set in front of coil and screw to coil frame through prepunched hole. Maximum screw length 1/2". 3. Install top. Slide over to right side of. Set in front of coil and screw to coil frame. Maximum screw length 1/2". Blank-off should fit between top and bottom s to the far left of. (If using 1" filters, spacer may need to be removed to position blank-off. Once blank-off is in position, reinstall spacer.) 4. If using 2" wide filter remove spacer. ILL To change filter: Down discharge: Open hinged door with hood. Horizontal discharge: Remove side on. Remove middle filter first. Slide remaining filters to middle of for removal. To install filters, reverse above operation. Filter Rack Size 1 " filter (3) 12" X 24" X 1" Blank-off 2 " filter (3) 12" x 24" x 2" screws ILL. 9 ILL. 10

5 Filter Rack Installation (Down and Horizontal) -- Bent Unit: 1. Unpack top and bottom filter s, and filters. Remove side on. 2. Install bottom. Slide over to right side (when facing coil) of. Set in front of coil and screw to right side of coil frame through pre-punched hole. Maximum screw length 1/2". 3. Install top. Slide over to right side of. Set in front of coil and screw to right side of coil frame. Maximum screw length 1/2". 4. Remove screw in the side of the and re-insert through prepunched hole in the end of top. 5. If using 2" wide filter remove spacer. ILL To change filter: Remove middle filter first. Slide remaining filters to middle of for removal. To install filters, reverse above operation.
