Contractors submitting a bid shall be responsible for ensuring that they are properly apprised of the contents of this Addendum. The clarifications or modifications in this Addendum shall be incorporated into the Work of the referenced Project and all associated costs shall be accounted for in the General Contractor s lump sum bid. All information contained in this Addendum shall supersede and take precedence over any conflicting information in the original bid documents. All other requirements of the Work, except as modified herein, shall remain unchanged. Receipt of this addendum shall be acknowledged in the Contractor s Bid. In paragraph 1.01.C change plural nouns to singular. The Brine Shed is the only metal building in the project (Alternate 1). B. Delete paragraph 1.02.E in its entirety. C. In paragraph 1.04.J.4 delete the words, with no reduction. D. Delete paragraph 1.06.A in its entirety. E. Delete paragraph 1.06.B.1 in its entirety. F. Revise paragraph 1.06.C.1 to read, Color for a period of 20 years, chalking. G. Delete paragraph 2.02,C.2.d in its entirety. H. Replace second sentence of paragraph 2.03.G to read, Follow procedures of SSPC-SP2 or SSPC-SP for hand tool or power tool cleaning and SSPC-SP1 for solvent cleaning. I. Addendum 2, Revised Drawing L1.1, Landscape Legend: Replace the words Seed/Sod with Seed. Replace the words Mulch/Stone with Mulch. 2. Drawing C9.0; Asphalt Pavement Detail: The 3 of S9.5(A) or (B) means 3 of S9.5(A) or 3 of S9.5(B) may be used. The use of I19.0B is not an option for the parking lot addition. The asphalt pad near the wash building and brine equipment storage building requires 1.5 of S9.5(B), 3 of I19.0(B), and 9 of CABC. 3. Drawing SL 1.0: The Contractor shall provide one new pole-mounted area light on the west side of the new parking area, on a concrete base that extends approximately 8 inches above grade to match existing lights. The Contractor shall power the new light by running wiring from one of two adjacent existing lights located on the same side of the parking lot (a distance of approximately 150 feet). Disregard light fixture information on Drawing SL1.0. Provide 30 foot, 6-inch square aluminum pole and light fixture as indicated on attached cut sheets. 4. Drawing 2S101, Detail 2: 8x21 hoist beams shall be provided by PEMB manufacturer as indicated, without the steel lug plates. Lug plates shall be supplied and field welded to the beams by the General Contractor. 5. Drawing 2S101: Under General Notes revise Basic Wind Speed from 90 MPH to 93 MPH. Page 2 of 3
