1 SKYLINE FLOW CONTROLS INC. PRODUCTS BRIEF SFC Series Flow Meters. SFC series Flow Meters include :Venturi meters, Wedge meters, Rect. Meters, Nozzle Flow Elements and Orifice Flow Elements. 1 VENTURI FLOW ELEMENTS (1) SFC-VT-ASME series Classical Venturi flow element Pipe mounted, manufactured strictly according to ASME/ISO5167. Size:2 to 144, Rating:ANSI 150# to 4500#, Manufactured Measuring Accurate:±1.0%, Flow Calibrated Accurate: ±0.5% and Better. (2)SFC-VT-FV series high performance Venturi This is a modified Venturi with higher accuracy, lower head loss and wide range-ability. Size:1 to 144, Rating: ANSI150# to 4500#, Manufactured measuring accurate:±0.5%, Flow calibrated accurate:±0.25% and better. (3)SFC-FV-FI series Insert Type Venturi flow element Full performance, high accuracy and reliability differential producing flow measurement device Materials listed but not limited to: Carbon Steel, Chrome-moly Steel, Inconel, Hastelloy B & C, 316SS, 304SS, Aluminum, Duplex SS, Monel, etc. Pipe flanges clamping insert mounting, can be Supplied as bi-directional venture for both direct flow measurement. (4)SFC-FV-PI series insert type venture flow element Consist of a hydraulic shape ruggedly constructed on a properly sized center flange, which fits within the bolt circle of the mating process piping. It is all plastic or fiberglass design, utilizing DERAKANE* Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin. It is non-corrosive, self scouring, dimensionally stable and can be used with line temperatures of up to

2 90 with standard resin and up to 250 with high temperature resin. Size:0.75 to 120, Rating:Vacuum to piping bearable pressure Process connection:clamped by flanges Manufactured measuring accurate:±0.5%, Flow calibrated to:±0.25% and better. The insertion type Venturi is a short laying length design featuring high accuracy and low permanent pressure loss. The flow conditions within the inlet section allow for closer coupling with upstream pipe fittings. Should pressure drop be of importance in a particular piping network, the outlet cone can be extended to satisfy the user's head-loss requirements. VENTURI tube meter has a simple structure, less maintenance,. VENTURI inside face can be easily lying with plastics and rubber, or coated with harden face to be used for corrosive or abrasive/erosive fluids. VENTURI can be used for clean liquid, gas, steam, and also the fluid contains solids and very small articles. VENTURI is low head loss and easy tuning, this made it widely used. 2 SFC-WM series Wedge Meters Size: Rating:ANSI 150# to ANSI 2500# Multi-taps and steam jacketed type is available. Manufactured measuring accurate:±2% Reading Flow calibrated to ±0.5 and better Repeatability:±0.2% Wedge meters has a simple structure and less maintenance, is widely used in petrochemical and chemical, and coal industries. Wedge meter inside facing can be easily lined with plastics and rubber for corrosive fluid. Wedge meter inside face can be hardened with satellite or coated with tungsten carbide for abrasive fluid contains solids. Wedge meters can be easily calibrated for use. Wedge meter can be used for high temperature, high viscosity fluids, and abrasive fluids that contains solids and small articles Wedge can be used for liquid, gas, steam and powdered gas. SFC-WM series wedge meters, besides standard type, the following models are available: (1)Wedge meter with lining for high corrosive fluids floe measurement such as caustics and acids (2)Wear-Resisting type wedge meter for gas or liquid contains granular articles or solid powder.

The orifice plate include: Standard orifice, Eccentric Orifice, Quarter Circle Nozzle Type Orifice, etc 4 SFC Rectangular meter Rect. Meter, or Rectangular Flow Meter, can also be called wedge type venture or segmental venture. It is a property combination of both wedge meter and venture: Wedge Meter Property: Can be used for high viscosity fluids and fluids contains granular articles or solid powder. Venturi Meter property: High accurate, high range-ability, lower head-loss So, Rect. Meter can be used to measure gas, steam, liquid ( Include: slurry, high viscosity fluids and high abrasive fluids) and high corrosive fluids flow rate with high accuracy, wide turn-down ratio and less head loss, the head-loss is only the 30%-50% of wedge meter head-loss. The Rect. Meter measuring body pipe can be both roundness pipe, square shaped or rectangular shaped pipe, has a wide scope of application. The Rect. Meter has a rigid structure, no moveable parts inside, anti-abrasive; the accurate can be sustained very long time that orifice, wedge, and turbine meter could not reach. Rect. Meter has solved many flow measurement that other flow meter could not do, or could not measure accurately, especially measuring accurate and reliable the high viscosity fluids, severe corrosive fluids and heavy abrasive fluids in a long period of time.
