It utilises multi-die LED chip technology to provide a highly efficient solution which is versatile and discreet allowing it to fit into most designs. RXS Mini offers an Efficacy in excess of 60 Llm/cW allowing the product to reduce the overall energy footprint of a project while still providing a high quality light source. The range offers a selection of lumen outputs, colour temperatures and beam angles. This allows the requirements of the desired application to be accommodated for giving more control and better results. Integrating the latest multi-die LED chip technology and offered with both a trimless gimbal and sleek trimmed fixed bezel, this exceptional new product also boasts a choice of fixed output and dimmable control gear, 3 beam angle options and 3000K or 000K colour temperatures. A key benefit is the first fix plaster-in bezel allows the control gear and head unit to be accessed and removed if required for maintenence or redecoration. The gimbal function of the standard luminaire head allows a class leading 30 degree tilt in all directions and the machined decorative bezel can be customised to add a unique aesthetic or function to suit a variety of applications. 11 RXS Trimless Gimbal Installation Sequence 1. Obtain first fix items only 2. Cut aperture, insert first fix bezel and feed cable 3. Secure first fix bezel with 2 clips provided. Apply plasterboard first fix adhesive. Allow to dry 5. Apply plaster skim 6. Trim aperture of excess plaster. Paint as required 7. Obtain luminaire and control gear 8. Connect control gear and feed through bezel 9. Form insertion tool as shown 10. Align slots in both frames 11. Push luminaire head up - keep alignment 12. Head guide pins will touch the upper frame 13. Rotate head clockwise to engage guide pins 1. Head now flush with ceiling after rotation 15. Resistance felt from spring clips Rotate further to engage 3 x spring clips 17. Final rotation 18. Spring clips engaged 19. Finished vertical position - tool removed 20. Tilt as required 21. The RXD can deliver energy savings of up to 62% over traditional compact fluorescent downlights without compromising on light levels or quality of light. To ensure suitability in a variety of applications, the RXD is available with a choice of 3000K warm white or 5000K cool white colour temperatures, round or square bezels that can be specified in different finishes and a wide attachment range to cater for both decorative and function driven installations. The RXD is compact and lightweight, with a body height of only 86mm, which enables it to be used in restricted ceiling voids. Many new LED downlights have reduced the housing diameter to suit the LED source, however, the traditional dimensions of the two sizes in this range are ideal for retrofit/upgrade situations due to the large cut out diameter left by the existing product. Available in four light output versions, all are backed up by a 3 hour maintained emergency option. Solstar LED is highly versatile and suits most internal applications.
