32 Transformer Disconnects kV Meeting Specifications These 15kV, NEMA 3R, non-fused transformer disconnects were supplied to match up to new Cooper Power Systems Transformers. Direct-drive side operated ABB switches, concealed hinges and flex connectors, were specific requirements in satisfying the specifications for this project. Colors and Devices This 15kV transformer disconnect required special paint; ventilation; gasketed covers; a fixed Eaton VCP-T circuit breaker and a GE Multilin relay in a NEMA 3R design to match up with a dry type transformer from Virginia Transformer.
