1 Setup Tabs Basic Setup: Password This option sets a password that MUST be entered to re-enter the system. Note: ProEFI can NOT get you into the calibration if you lose this password. You will have to reflash the ECU and start over. Serial Number This parameter displays the ECU s Electronic Serial Number Ecu Part Number This parameter displays the ECU s part number. Module Type This parameter displays the module type. ECU Model Number This parameter displays the ECU s Model Number. Firmware Version This parameter displays the firmware loaded in to the ECU. Load Type This option sets the Load input to be used as a reference for fueling and timing (Map based (Speed Density) or APC based (Mass air flow)) MAF Source This sets the type of fuel/timing calculation to use, model from map (speed density), Use MAF sensor, or Alpha N. Swept Cylinder Volume This option sets the displacement of the cylinder and is multiplied by the number of cylinders calibrated. Combustion Events Per Rev This option sets the number of combustion events that occur in each Revolution of the engine. On four stroke engines, this number is half of the number of cylinders. On two stroke engines, this is the number of cylinders. Vehicle Weight With Driver This option is used in calculating the potential E.T. and MPH of the vehicle, and is not critical to any other function. Number Of Cylinders This sets the number of cylinders the engine has. Spark Enable TDC Counts This option sets the number of times the encoder pattern must reach TDC sync s before enabling the ignition outputs. Pressure Ratio Feedback This option allows compensation for intake manifold pressure to exhaust backpressure ratio. Two Stroke/Four Stroke This option is used for the airflow calculation. Fuel Pump 1 Override This override allows you to override the fuel pump and force it on or off, regardless of any other conditional state. Cranking Spark Advance This table sets the cranking spark advance based on Engine RPM. Lock Spark Advance to This option sets the ignition advance for proper alignment of the ignition timing synchronization between the ecu, and actual crank angle. Spark Advance Lock This option Locks the ignition timing to the Lock Spark Advance to option TDC Offset For Ignition Timing Sync This option is used to calibrate the timing sync between the ECU and the actual crank angle. Advanced Setup: Encoder Cam Sync Edge This option sets the edge to use from the cam sensor Rise or Fall.
2 Encoder Sync Edge This option sets the edge to use from the Crank sensor Rise of Fall. Crank to Run RPM This option sets the engine RPM to transfer from the crank mode to the Run mode. Crank to Stall RPM This option sets the engine RPM to transfer from the crank mode back to the stall mode in the event of a no start. Run to Stall RPM This option sets the engine RPM to transfer from the Run mode into the stall mode, once the run mode has been achieved. Stall to Crank RPM This option sets the engine RPM to transfer from the Stall mode to the Crank Mode. Steady State RPM Tolerance This option sets the steady state RPM tolerance in RPM/Sec. Steady State RPM Increasing Filter This option sets the filter rate for the RPM Steady State when engine speed is increasing. Steady State RPM Decreasing Filter This option sets the filter rate for the RPM Steady State when engine speed is decreasing. Steady State Load Tolerance This option sets the Steady State Load tolerance in manifold pressure change. Steady State Load Increasing Filter This option sets the filter rate for the Load Steady State when Manifold Pressure is increasing. Steady State Load Decreasing Filter This option sets the filter rate for the Load Steady State when Manifold Pressure is decreasing. Run Latch TDC Count This option sets the number of Encoder Cycle Synchs that must occur before latching the system in to the run mode. Firing Order Table This table sets the firing order in crank rational degrees. RPM 32 Index This index sets the breakpoints for Main V.E. table VE Y 32 Index This index sets the breakpoints for Main V.E. table RPM 9 Index This index sets the breakpoints for the following tables o Coil Dwell Map o Max ETC Set point limit table o Power Enrichment Table o Primary SOI Map o Secondary SOI Map o Shift Torque Hold Timer o Shift Torque Ramp in Rate Map o TCC Ramp in rate map RPM 17 Index This index sets the breakpoints for the following tables o Air/Fuel Ratio Table Map o High Cam Active Map o O2 Maf error gain multiplier o Oil Pressure Min threshold table o High/Low Spark Advance Maps o Staged Injection Split Map
3 o VVT1&2 Set point maps VE 17 Index This index sets the breakpoints for the High Cam Active Map. RPM 5 Index This index sets the breakpoints for the following maps o Individual Cylinder trims 1-12 o Base Knock Ratio Map o Knock Ratio Multiplier adapt Map o Knock Ratio Multiplier Map o Knock window duration Map o Knock window Start Map o Reference window duration map o Reference window start map Battery Volts Tab: System Volts Default Value This option sets the default value for the battery voltage System Volts Filter Constant This option sets the filter rate for battery voltage System Volts Gain This option sets the gain for the battery voltage. Note: This number should be.0410 on a Pro128, and a Pro48 should be.0272 Battery Voltage This parameter displays the current battery voltage. Primary Fuel System Tab: Primary/Secondary Injector Flow Rate This option sets the injector flow rate so the system can properly calculate the necessary fuel to be injected. Primary/Secondary Injector Flow at Rated Pressure- This option sets what fuel pressure the injector was rated at. Flex Fuel Sensor (Primary or Secondary) Present This option sets if you have a flex fuel sensor installed on either system. Low Octane Primary Stoich Set point This option sets the stoich set point for the Low octane system and allows a switch to be used to run different fuels. High Octane Primary Stoich Set point - This option sets the stoich set point for the High octane system and allows a switch to be used to run different fuels. Primary/Secondary Base Fuel Pressure Set this to the base fuel pressure for the system with the vacuum line to the regulator disconnected. Primary/Secondary Fuel System Type This option sets the type of fuel system used- Map referenced, return less with a fuel pressure sensor, and a return less without a fuel pressure sensor. Injector Current Select This option allows the selection of running the 6amp/2amp drivers if running injectors with less than 1.5 ohm total resistance. Primary/Secondary Injector Offset This option is used to properly scale the injectors for proper fuel metering.
4 Primary/Secondary Injector Min Duration This option sets the minimum injector duration allowed to be commanded to the injector. This helps in requesting opening times that the injector can t respond to, and would normally cause intermittent misfires. Primary/Secondary Injector Max Duty This option sets the maximum allowed injector duty cycle before a fault is triggered warning the user that the fuel system has reached its limits. Peak Duration Multiplier This option sets the peak and hold time for proper injector control. Typically 1 to 1.5 ms. Cylinder 1-12 Injector This option sets which cylinder will drive which injector driver. Primary/Secondary Injector Battery Offset table This option sets the battery offset for proper metering of the injectors under different battery voltage conditions. Injector 1-12 Primary or Secondary selection These options set which injector will be assigned as a primary or secondary injector. Injector Phasing Tab: Cylinder 1-12 Injector Phase These options set the sequential phasing for each injector. Note: The injector phasing is based on cylinder #1 TDC, so as you go through the progression in the firing order, the numbers will go down from the first injector. Example: Firing order is , injector #1 phase is set to 480 degrees before TDC (intake valve opens on the overlap 360 later, plus a little bit of lead 120degrees), cylinder 3 (next to fire) would be 300 (subtract 180 degrees for the crank rotation to the next firing event), cylinder 4 would be 120, then cylinder number 2 would be 660 (zero degrees is equal to 720 for the cycle). Primary/Secondary Start of Injection Table This table sets the injector phasing advance based on Engine load and Engine RPM. Flex Sensor Tab:
5 Flex Sensor Default Stoich set point This option sets the stoich point to be referenced in the case that the flex fuel sensor should fail. Flex Fuel Filter Time Constant This option sets the filter time constant for the flex fuel sensor input. Flex Fuel Low ADC Fault This option sets the low ADC limit that will trigger a fault condition. Flex Fuel High ADC Fault This option sets the high ADC limit that will trigger a fault condition. Flex Fuel Low Fault Trigger This option will allow the user to trigger a fault condition if the ethanol content drops below a calibrated percentage. You can then perform actions in the fault manager as safe guards for the engine. Flex Fuel Sensor Digital Input This option sets the Digital input to be used for the Flex fuel sensor. Flex Fuel Sensor Present Primary/Secondary This option sets if a flex fuel sensor is present in either fuel system. Flex Fuel Sensor Index- This index sets the breakpoints for the flex fuel sensor transfer table. Flex Fuel Sensor Transfer Table This table transfers the analog input to engineering units. Pressure Sensor Tabs: Sensor Pin This option sets the Analog input to be used for the selected sensor. Sensor Range This option sets the range of the sensor to be used for the selected sensor input. Sensor Offset This option is used to offset the ADC count to synch the sensor for any analog input used with the various different pull up or pull down inputs. Sensor Default This option sets the default value if the sensor should be determined in fault. Sensor High Fault This option sets the high ADC value allowed before the sensor is considered to be in fault. Sensor Low Fault This option sets the low ADC value allowed before the sensor is considered to be in fault. Sensor ADC This parameter displays the current ADC count for the selected sensor input. Sensor Kpa This parameter displays the scaled value in kilopascals for the selected sensor. Sensor PSI This parameter displays the scaled value in PSI for the selected sensor. EBP Sensor Low Fault This option sets the low pressure ratio allowed under power condition before a high exhaust backpressure fault is triggered. Radiator Pressure Limit This option sets the maximum radiator pressure allowed before a fault is triggered. Temp Sensor Tabs: Temp Analog In This option sets the analog input to be used for this sensor input. Range High This option sets the fault trigger for Overtemp. Sensor Default This option sets the default value if the sensor should be determined to be in fault. Sensor High Fault This option sets the high ADC value allowed before the sensor is considered to be in fault.
6 Sensor Low Fault This option sets the low ADC value allowed before the sensor is considered to be in fault. Sensor ADC This parameter displays the current ADC count for the selected sensor input. Sensor Degrees C This parameter displays the sensor value in degrees C. Sensor Degrees F This parameter displays the sensor value in degrees F. Temp Transfer Table This table sets the transfer of ADC counts in to engineering units to calibrate the sensor. Temp Sensor Transfer Index This index sets the breakpoints for the temp sensor transfer table. Coolant temp 5 Index This index sets the breakpoints for the tables using the 5 site coolant temp index. The tables using this index areo Base Airflow Offset table o ECT Spark offset table o Warm up transfer fuel mult table Speed Sensor Tab: Vehicle Speed Selector This option sets which input (driven or nondriven) will be used for the vehicle speed input. Vehicle Speed Sensor Present This option sets if a vehicle speed sensor is present and working. VSS Default Value This is the default value to be used if no speed sensor is present. Speed Sensor Wheel at Hub This option sets if the calculation for wheel speed will include a differential gear or not. Driven Wheel Speed Pin This option sets the digital input to be used for the driven wheel speed input. Driven Wheel pin Interface This option sets the type of sensor used for driven wheel speed, VR or Digital. Number of Teeth This option sets the number of teeth on the Driven wheel speed pickup wheel. Final Drive Ratio This option sets the differential ratio for proper driven wheel speed calculation. Tire Diameter This option sets the tire diameter for proper wheel speed calculation. Driven Wheel Speed This parameter displays the current driven wheel speed in MPH. Non Driven Wheel Speed Pin This option sets which digital input pin will be used to calculate non driven wheel speed. Non Driven Wheel Pin Interface This option sets the type of sensor to be used for the non driven wheel speed input VR or digital. Number of Teeth This option sets the number of teeth on the non driven wheel speed sensor pickup wheel. Tire Diameter This option sets the tire diameter of the non driven wheel speed for proper wheel speed calibration. Non Driven Wheel Speed This parameter displays the current Non driven wheel speed in MPH.
7 Turbo Speed Fault limit This option sets the amount over the Turbo Speed map before triggering a fault. Turbo Speed 1-2 Pulses- This option sets the number of pulses in a revolution for calculating turbo speed. Turbo Speed 1-2 Digital In This option sets the digital input to be used for the turbo speed inputs. Turbo Speed 1-2 Edge detect This option sets which edge to use in detection of the turbo speed sensor Rising or Falling. Turbo Speed 1-2 Frequency Range This option sets the frequency range for the input of the turbo speed sensors. High or low Turbo Speed 1-2 Interface This option sets the type of sensor used for measuring turbo speed. VR or Digital. Turbo Speed Allowed Map This option sets the normal turbo speed based on manifold pressure and engine rpm. Turbo Speed Map index This index sets the MAP breakpoints for the turbo speed allowed map. Turbo Speed RPM Index This index sets the RPM breakpoints for the turbo speed allowed map. O2 PID Tab: Internal UEGO Controlled This option sets the type of O2 control Internal, or External. O2 Control Enable This option enables O2 Feedback. O2 #1-2 Proportional Gain This option sets the proportional gain for the O2 Feedback Loop. O2 #1-2 Integral Gain This option sets the integral gain for the O2 Feedback Loop. O2 I Term Upper Limit This option sets the upper limit for the Iterm correction. O2 I Term Lower Limit This option sets the lower limit for the Iterm correction. O2 Derivative Gain This option sets the derivative gain for the O2 Feedback loop. Typically this is left at 0. O2 Control PID Upper Limit This option sets the Upper Limit for the PID Loop. O2 PID Control Lower Limit This option sets the Lower Limit for the PID Loop. Desired EQ Range from Stoich for Closed Loop This option sets the Desired EQ range allowed from the Stoich set point for closed loop control. O2 Lean EQ Switch Point Delta This option sets the Lean EQ Switch point Delta. O2 Lean EQ Target Delta This option sets the Lean EQ Target Delta. O2 Rich EQ Switch Point Delta This option sets the Rich EQ Switch point Delta. O2 Rich EQ Target Delta This option sets the Rich EQ Target Delta. Mass Airflow Gain Table This table sets the overall gain for the O2 Feedback loop based on Mass Air flow through the engine. O2 Feedback Start up delay table This table sets the start up delay in seconds from entering the run condition. Final AFR 1 This parameter displays the current A/F ratio from Sensor 1 Final AFR 2 This parameter displays the current A/F ratio from Sensor 2 O2 #1-2 Pterm This parameter displays the current Proportional adjustment for the PID Loop.
8 O2 #1-2 Iterm This parameter displays the current Integral adjustment for the PID Loop. O2 #1-2 Dterm This parameter displays the current Derivative adjustment for the PID Loop. O2 #1-2 Feedback Multiplier This parameter displays the fuel multiplier that is being used for each O2 sensor from the feedback loop. O2 1-2 Setup Tab: Internal O2 AFR This parameter displays the current a/f from this sensor. Internal O2 ADC This parameter displays the current ADC Count from the sensor. UEGO 1-2 Pin This option selects the appropriate UEGO1 Controller inside the Pro 128. External O2 1-2 Analog Input This option sets the Analog input to be used for the external O2 Input. External O2 Default This option sets the default AFR reading should the O2 Sensor be determined to be in fault. EQ Error from Target to Faults Sensor A-B This option sets the maximum error from target to trigger a fault condition. The fault condition would then allow the user to trigger other actions based on this fault. External O2 AFR parameter displays the current a/f from this sensor. External O2 ADC This parameter displays the current ADC Count from the sensor. External O2 1-2 Transfer Table These tables set the transfer from Voltage to Desired Equivelancy. O2 1-2 Proportional Gain Table This table allows for setting a faster proportional gain when the target error is greater. This gain schedule will help improve the response of the system. The values in this table are typically left alone. O2 1-2 Integral Gain Table This table allows for setting a faster Integral gain when the target error is greater. This gain schedule will help improve the response of the system. The values in this table are typically left alone.

O2 A-B Error Index This Index sets the breakpoints for the PID Error Tables. External O2 #1-2 Index This Index sets the breakpoints for the External O2 sensor Transfer Tables. MAF Sensor Tabs:
10 MAF Input Type This option sets which type of Mass air flow sensor will be used Voltage or Frequency. MAF Volts Analog Input This option sets the analog input to be used for the Voltage type Mass air sensor. MAF Default This option sets the default value should the MAF be considered in fault. MAF High Fault This option sets the High airflow to fault the sensor. MAF Low Fault This option sets the low airflow to fault the sensor. MAF Volts filter constant This option sets the filter rate for the airflow sensor MAF ADC Counts This parameter displays the current ADC count from the airflow sensor. MAF Transfer Table This table converts the voltage input from the airflow meter to Grams/Sec. MAF Index Table This index sets the breakpoints for the MAF Transfer Table. MAF Frequency Tab: MAF Input Type This option sets which type of Mass air flow sensor will be used Voltage or Frequency. MAF Frequency Digital Input This option sets the digital input to be used for the Frequency input mass air meter. MAF Pin Edge Detect This option sets the trigger edge for the input from the frequency mass air meter. MAF Pin Frequency Range This option sets the frequency range for the input-low or High. MAF Pin Interface This option sets the type of trigger in the frequency sensor VR or Digital MAF Min Frequency This option sets the minimum frequency before faulting the sensor. MAF Max Frequency This option sets the maximum frequency before faulting the sensor. MAF Frequency Default This option sets the default value when the sensor faults. MAF Filter Constant This option sets the filter rate for the mass air sensor. MAF Frequency ADC Counts This parameter displays the current ADC counts coming from the sensor. MAF Frequency Grams/Sec This parameter displays the current calculated flow in Grams/Sec MAF Frequency Transfer Table This table converts the frequency ADC input to Grams/Sec MAF Frequency Index This index sets the breakpoints for the MAF Frequency transfer table. Coil Setup Tab: EST Sequence Type This option sets the type of sequence to be used- Wasted Spark, Coil on plug, Distributed, and Banked. EST Initial Pin This sets the start EST pin in the Sequence. This option is typically left on EST1 Maximum Allowed Dwell This option sets the maximum Dwell to be output to the coil. Coil Dwell Control Table This table sets the dwell time to the coils based on Voltage and Engine RPM.
11 Indicated Work/Load Tab: APC Index This Index sets the breakpoints for the Indicated Load Table. Indicated Load Table This table sets the load calculated from the Mass airflow meter (when used). Indicated Load 5 Index This index sets the break points for the following tables. o Individual CYL 1-12 Multiplier Maps o Base Knock Ratio Map o Knock Ratio Mult Adapt Map o Knock Ratio Mult Map o Knock Window Duration Map o Knock Window Start Map o Ref Window Duration Map o Ref Window Start Map Indicated Load 9 Index This index sets the break points for the following tables. o Max Spark Limit Table o Primary/Secondary Start of Injection (SOI) Maps Indicated Load 17 Index This index sets the break points for the following tables. o Air Fuel Ratio Table Map o Spark Advance High Octane Map o Spark Advance Low Octane Map o Staged Injection Split Map o VVT1 2 Set point maps High Cam Setup Tab: High Cam State This parameter displays the current state of the High CAM output. High Cam This option sets the output driver to be used to active the high cam mode. High Cam RPM Hysteresis This option sets the hysteresis for the RPM activate/deactivate to prevent oscillation Typical values are 300 to 500 rpm. High Cam TPS Hysteresis This option sets the hysteresis for the Throttle sensor to prevent oscillation. High Cam polarity This option inverts the current output to the High cam solenoid. High Cam Active Map This map calibrates when the High Cam will be active by putting a 1 in the site. Overrides Tab: Overrides are a VERY powerful tool that can make diagnosing issues simple. Note that when cycling ignition power, the overrides will be reset to their off state.
12 Pseudo RPM This override allows the user to put the ecu in run mode and set a target rpm to run the actuators (Injectors, coils etc..). Note: You must exercise caution when running an engine in this mode, and disable the fuel system prior to entering a value MAP New This option overrides this sensor and forces the ecu to this value. TPS New This option overrides this sensor and forces the ecu to this value. Coolant Temp New This option overrides this sensor and forces the ecu to this value. Des EQ mixture New This option overrides this sensor and forces the ecu to this value. Spark Advance New This option overrides this sensor and forces the ecu to this value. AIT New This option overrides this sensor and forces the ecu to this value. A/F Target New This option overrides this target and forces the ecu to this value. Fuel Pump 1 Override This option overrides the fuel pump control, and allows the user to set this control on or off, regardless of any conditional states. Injector 1-12 Override These overrides allow the user to turn injector driver outputs on or off. V.E. Map This is the standard v.e. map, and is located here to easily allow the converting of fuel maps from other systems to get a good starting point for the calibration. Config Debug Tab: This Tab will display Output conflicts, or setup issues, as well as some processor information.
