FLEXIBLE DISCS FOR VERSATILE APPLICATIONS With its fl exibly adjustable vanes, the Multi Disc System (MDS) spreading discs are able to spread all types of fertilizer, fi ne seeds and slug pellets with highest precision and adapted spreading patterns. 4 THE KEY TO AN OPTIMAL DISTRIBUTION WORK QUALITY The MDS spreading discs stand their ground during standard spreading, late spreading in high crops as well as yield-optimized spreading at fi eld borders. For your comfort, all this is possible without removing or changing the discs or vanes. EXCLUSIVE MDS MULTI-DISC SYSTEM MDS means highest precision in fertilizer spreading as well as exact spreading patterns for different fertilizers, fi ne seeds and slug and snail pellets. According to the type of fertilizer and the working width, the vanes can be adjusted precisely in length and orientation. Thanks to their well-marked, three-dimensional position indication, the user can set the vanes quickly and easily. 5 D.F.C. SCALE: ACCURATE APPLICATION RATE CONTROL COMFORT Nothing could be simpler than changing the application rate from one fi eld to another. It can be done by positioning an opening stop on the continuous proportional direct fl ow control D.F.C. scale. With its help, you can modify the application rate without any extra equipment. The principle: The opening position is modifi ed by the same percentage as the application rate. This means for example that you simply increase the opening by 10 % for a 10 % higher application rate. READY, STEADY...SPREAD! Remove the disc without tools in a few seconds. / 2. Install the guide channel. / 3. Identify the fertilizer with the identifi cation guide/ adjustment chart. / 4. Determine the outlet opening according to the indications of the charts. / 5. Set the outlet opening on the machine. 6. Open the outlet with the agitator in operation. / 7. Weigh the quantity collected and calculate the new opening. 5

6 MDS AT EASE BETWEEN THE ROWS! WORK QUALITY SPREADING ON TWO ROWS This stainless steel equipment, intended for row plantations, has adjustable fl aps that apply fertilizer on two rows of variable width from 1 to 5 m and with a spacing which is 100 % variable. This ensures that all nutrients arrive in the root area of the row crops and that valuable fertilizer is saved. It can be quickly and easily adjusted without tools. EFFICIENT ALTERNATIVE FOR ROW CROPS An attachment is available to accurately supply up to seven rows with fertilizer. It is intended for row crops, such as vegetables or strawberries. The spacing is adjustable to up to 90 cm between the rows. 6

EXCLUSIVE COMFORT MAINTENANCE-FREE CORE COMPONENT A reinforced oil-bath gearbox drives the spreading discs and the agitator. The sturdy heart of the machine stands out by its long service life also in diffi cult conditions. The agitator shaft is made of treated stainless steel. This gearbox does not need emptying before ten years in service! ENSURING A SMOOTH FERTILIZER DISCHARGE A slowly rotating agitator (only 180 min -1 ) provides a regular fl ow of fertilizer on the spreading discs without damaging the granules and without clogging the outlet. The longevity of the components is ensured with the 100 % stainless steel hopper bottom, agitator shaft and outlets. 7

8 MDS HIGHER CAPACITIES FOR INCREASED AUTONOMY The MDS 17.1 and 19.1 models are intended for mixed farms and have basic capacities of 700 and 900 litres, respectively. These high basic loads together with the fl exible hopper extension system ensure maximum performance. CONFORM WITH SAFETY STANDARDS A shielding of composite materials covers the spreading discs and effi ciently protects the painted areas of the frame and the hopper. 9 QAUTOMATIC OUTLET CONTROL VIA GPS For the MDS Q versions, an automatic dis-/engagement of metering outlets on headlands and fi eld points brings even more effi ciency and precision. This optional GPS support ensures that the outlet openings are always well adapted according to the currently required working width (VARISPREAD). On headlands, OPTI-POINT helps you fi nd the ideal point for opening/closing the outlets for each type of fertilizer separately. The QUANTRON A is also compatible for variable rate application (VRA) in combination with a GPS. This is precision farming! Available for MDS 12.1 and VERSION Q: ELECTRONIC OUTLET CONTROL FOR EVEN MORE PRECISION! COMFORT WORK QUALITY The electronic metering system with the QUANTRON A control box monitors and adjusts the metering slide opening, allowing the fertilizer fl ow to be coordinated depending on the forward speed (DPAE adjustment). Even if the forward speed varies, the pre-selected application rate remains constant. The driver can at any time: - modify the application rate, - adjust the fl ow on either side individually; - open and close the metering slides on the left and right; - document the spreading operation for 200 fi elds; - continuously monitor the applied rates.

ADJUSTING DISC VANES ON THE BORDER SIDE As the vanes allow for an easy adjustment both to the right and left, the spreading pattern can be adapted at the edge of the fi eld. 2. TELIMAT T1 Without getting off the tractor, hydraulically controlled from the cabin, it orients the trajectory of the fertilizer projected by the disc along the border. TELIMAT stands for precise and comfortable border and edge spreading from the fi rst tramline! 3. BORDER SPREADING LIMITER If the tramline lies directly at the edge of the fi eld, this limiter prevents spraying fertilizer beyond the fi eld. The distance to the border can be adjusted between 0 and 3 m. The fertilized area thus is delimited. 10
