Foldable for storage, the main auger is controlled through the use of a hydraulic cylinder. The main auger hinge point is precise and robust, precision welded and selfcentering. Self-aligning top bearings ensure that the auger shafts align and that the male-female drive couplers engage every time. A highly successful and proven design from Loftness, the GL-12 roller is 19.5 feet wide and capped at the ends with 23 inch discs to ensure the empty bag stays on track. Welded teeth spaced along the entire roller shaft ensure that the leading edge of the bag is captured securely and squarely. Built around abrasion resistant 1/4 inch steel flighting, the main auger is supported by 2-7/16 inch bearings. Like all GL-12 augers they are computer balanced and factory tuned for the highest possible performance. The main auger and auger tube is hinged for transport and storage. The 12 inch augers feed material to the discharge auger. Two hydraulic motors deliver the power to drive material to the center of the bag. 18

The transition of PTO power that drives the hydraulics is super smooth and highly balanced, turning 1000 RPM into POWER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM Robust and more than able to handle the load. The main hydraulic system holds 70 gallons of hydraulic fluid. We ve built in a return filtration system to reduce wear. The system also incorporates a cold weather by-pass. 11 SPLIT SHAFT DRIVE Extreme duty. Perfect balance. The GL-12 GBU drive train system utilizes a center supported dual shaft design that ensures balance and stability under heavy power loads. This set-up uses shear bolt protected Walterscheid W2400 series PTO shafts. 12 PTO OPTIONS OPTIONAL Standard PTO Configurations. To accommodate both big and small tractor configurations, Loftness offers the choice of either 1-3/8 or 1-3/4 PTO spline configurations RPM and shear bolt protected. The owner must choose one or both at time of order. 19

The GL-12 GBU cooling system has proven itself under the most adverse heat conditions. The reason: a hydraulically driven oil fan cooler. The cooling system also features automatic by-pass based on pressure. 14 BAG ROLLER CHAIN DRIVE 15 BAG ROLLER CLUTCH Hydraulic power. Double wide chain reduction. Fast and easy. The entire roller drive assembly was designed to provide the power and torque needed for the 12 foot bag load environment. Hydraulic motor power is increased, and speed is reduced through a dual width chain triple reduction drive system. The massive power of the roller drive system pulls the tractor and unloader into the grain. After transfer of your product is complete, removal of the empty bag held by the roller is a snap. The operator simply disengages the drive on the roller by hand, and the bag can be easily unrolled off of the bag roller tube. No tools required. 16 OPERATOR S Easy to use. Turn the Cross Auger and Discharge Auger on and off. The controls have easy ground level access. The multi-function controls precisely regulate the bag roller speed, adjust the axle height and retract or extend the hinged main auger. 20
