3 Using only high quality components and refusing to cut corners, each Easytow Boat trailer is custom built to suit a particular hull. The trailers themselves are CAD designed using a series of very specific and precise hull measurements. One of our main objectives is to get the boat to sit as low as practically possible. Not only does this make the whole boat and trailer package look great, more importantly it creates a lower centre of gravity which improves towing, launching, and retrieving. Have you considered all your options? Easytow can offer your ski trailer in three different finishes, however er painted only trailers are for freshwater use only. Even if you intend to use your trailer only in freshwater, we recommend the paint over galvanizing option. Not only does this prolong the life of your trailer, it also helps your resale options if you decide to upgrade you boat, especially when you consider that the bulk of NSW and QLD boaters use saltwater! Brake Upgrades... With boats getting heavier, consider ordering hydraulic brakes on your next trailer. Offering superior braking performance over mechanical brakes, this option comes with either galvanised/dacroment calipers or stainless steel calipers. For trailers used in salt water, we strongly recommend the stainless steel option. Stainless steel calipers are also an upgrade option on trailers fitted with breakaway brakes.

8 checklist: Boat trailers often get little consideration, but they are very important. Remember your boat will generally spend more time on the trailer than on the water. Next time you are looking at a new trailer or boat package ask plenty of questions or check for yourself. Is it a quality well known name with a sound reputation? Does the weight rating suit your needs? Does it run quality bearings that are easy to source? Does it come with a comprehensive locally backed warranty and owner s manual? Is it designed and manufactured for Australian roads? Does it meet Australian standards? (this is very important for insurance) What will happen in the future; are spare parts easy to source? Does it have quality components: tyres, winch, swing up jockey wheel, LED lights? If you answer NO or NOT SURE to any of these you may end up frustrated, and with issues in the future.
