3 A. FlexMAX Overview: The FlexMAX comes in several configurations to meet your specific material handling needs. We have three standard auger profiles, and four standard sizes which are the 3, 4, 5 and 6 casing and auger. Larger units can be built as customs. They have 304SS auger material and FDA approved UHMW flexible casings. The rounded FastFLO hopper corners are designed to prevent material build up and bridging. The FlexMAX conveyor can be easily disassembled and cleaned. Standard hopper sizes are 4, 8, and 12 ft 3 and have FastFLO rounded corners, 60 Degree hopper walls and 2B finish. The feed hoppers are available with different configurations or sizes upon request. a. Discharge Head The discharge head houses the connection of the auger to the drive shaft, motor mounting and isolation seal plate between the gearbox and the product flow path.
