4 LUBE PUMP TOWING KIT Basic s and how it works Lube pump circulates transmission fluid through the vehicles transmission cooler to keep it cool and lubricated while the vehicle is being towed with the engine off. Cabin display monitors the system from inside the Motorcoach and shows you are safeguarding your transmission. Protected by fluid system selector valve with a pressure switch mounted in the towed vehicle. Not recommended for vehicles older than manufacturing year kits out in the field. Most popular in automatic transmissions. Contact your CWI service department to schedule an appointment for installation. Lube pump system, tail lights, brake lights and turn signals are powered by the Motorcoach 12VDC electrical system. Detailed installation instructions with every kit. 22 REMCO FAQ s Pump continues to run after faucets are turned off, 1. Check all pump inlet fittings all the way back to the water tank are tight any air will cause this. 2. Be sure all the air is out of the outlet side of the system, turn on pump open all faucets, shower, toilet, out door faucets and showers and let them run for a few minutes and turn them off from the farthest faucet to the nearest. 3. Check the water selection valve for leaks and make sure seals are tight and properly sealing. 4. If you have a accumulator tank remove it or bypass it, an accumulator tank will cause AQUAJET and REBEL pumps to continue to run. Pump surges on and off (Cycling), 1. Check all outlet lines looking for a small leak. 2. Turn more than one faucet on and if the cycling stops it means there is to much restriction in the system. Increase the size of the restrictors in all the faucets aerators and shower heads to reduce back pressure. Use a smaller size pump. 3. If you have a accumulator tank remove it or bypass it, an accumulator tank will cause AQUAJET and REBEL pumps to cycle. Pump does not run at all, 1. Check all electrical connections from the fuse box all the way to the pump including wiring on demand switches. 2. Check all fuses are in place and not blown. Pump is extremely noisy, 1. Be sure that you have not tightened the pump down on the mounting base to much, you should have a gap between the pump base and the mounting surface. Loosen fasteners to allow the pump to move on its rubber feet. 2. Install long rubber hoses between the hard plumbing pipes and the pump inlet and outlet, this will keep the hard plumbing from rattling. Looking for RV plumbing? Visit our website.
