Important warnings Do not use the machine without knowing its characteristics. Do not use the sprayer for uses other than those it has been designed for, if necessary contact Casotti for explanations regarding its use. Make sure that the personnel using the machinery is suitably trained to do so. The Casotti sprayer is a diffuser of substances harmful to man. Therefore, the operator must position himself on the vehicle in movement, on the part opposite the distribution of the anti-parasitic and must make sure other people are not near the sprayer. The safety distance varies depending on the operating pressure: as a reference, the average distance is approximately 15 metres. Do not lubricate, clean, repair the machine without first having disconnected the electric and hydraulic connections. One operator at a time must use the machine. Handle the plant protection products with maximum care, adopting all the necessary precautions during use, not only during the distribution phase, but also in the previous phases of preparation and mixing of the product. It is recommended that the instructions of the product to be distributed are read carefully since there are different rules according to the degree of toxicity. 6 7 It is absolutely forbidden to use the machine on days with anomalous weather conditions with a risk of severe thunderstorms.

Safety instructions A Transport, handling and storage At the moment of delivery check that: - the delivery note and the contents of the packing correspond. - the packing is integral in order to individuate possible damage that can be attributed to the transporter. In case of damage inform Casotti immediately. Particular precautions for transport are not needed since size is minimum and weight is limited. Casotti sprayers are normally shipped in a cardboard box of dimensions 40 x 25 x 30, with some parts disassembled. If the machines are delivered on pallets, there are risks of crushing due to the lifting operation. Proceed very slowly when unloading the means of transport so as not to damage the components of the machine. It is recommended to employ staff specifically in charge and suitable for the use of forklifts. While waiting for installation, the packaging must be kept indoors, in a dry place, to prevent the deterioration both of the box and the sprayer. If it is necessary to keep the sprayer outdoors, cover it with a waterproof cover, so that dust, rain and moisture can cause no damage. Warranty The terms and conditions of the warranty are determined as follows, unless otherwise specified by the Order Confirmation. Casotti, as well as ensuring good quality and the good construction of the machines, guarantees, during the warranty period, to replace or repair any faulty components, due to manufacturing, for free. According to the current laws the warranty has a duration of 24 MONTHS starting from the date of delivery. 8 9

B Technical information Description of the machine The Casotti sprayer is designed and built in accordance with Directive 2006/42/EC. It consists of a central body made of steel and aluminium in which are installed tubes for the input of the product to be distributed. In order to be used, the sprayer must be applied to a tank for the liquid and a pump is required. The liquid is pressurised by the pump and, suitably filtered, it goes from the tank to the dispensers, equipped with nozzles, placed on the central body. A 12 Volt electric motor connected to the tractor battery generated the oscillating movement of the nozzles

Technical information B Machine use Technical specifications The machine, which in this manual is defined Casotti sprayer, is to be used for the distribution of phytosanitary products on grass crops and other plants in general and, if necessary for cleaning and disinfection. Any use that is not recommended or approved by the manufacturer is contrary to the designated use and is considered improper use. The use of the machine is prohibited in the presence of wind or next to water streams as well as in areas defined as sensitive and vulnerable to phytosanitary products contamination. The use of phytosanitary products shall respect the amounts and methods defined by the rules in force in your Country. In case the machine is used for cleaning and disinfection, please contact Casotti in order to verify the use method and the suitability of the used product. To modify the angle of oscillation, use the regulator under the rubber plug (cod. 4) in the lower cover. Remove the plug and turn the switch to the lowest speed and stop the movement in the most comfortable position to loosen the bolt. To modify the angle of oscillation, loosen the bolt and use a screwdriver to move the adjuster lever, tighten the bolt and then check if the angle is the desired one. The angle of oscillation of the lateral stainless steel tube is always half compared to the central one (in the EURO body). The angle of oscillation of the lateral stainless steel tube is always half compared to the two central stainless steels tubes (in the SUPER body). Ø Ø Ø Distribution: Calculation of the quantity of water for distribution in full field POLYETHYLENE CAP To calculate the quantity of liquid to be distributed per hectare, refer to the following formula: D = Q x 600 / L x V where: D = Quantity to be distributed in litres per hectare Q = Overall nozzle capacity in Lt/min L = Operative working width V = Speed That is: Overall nozzle capacity x 600 Working width x speed = litres of liquid per hectare 14 15

Technical information B Possible breakages This chapter lists the most frequent anomalies, the possible causes and solutions to restore normal conditions of operation. If the breakage is not included in the case study shown here, Casotti can be contacted for necessary indications. The liquid does not arrive: - Make sure that the tank is not empty. - Check operation of the pump. The nozzle holder elbows do not oscillate: - Check there is electric supply to the motor. - Disassemble the cover and check for motor breakdown. - Check if the white plastic gear inside the motor is worn. (see diagram) Gear Maintenance and dismantling Do not allow unqualified personnel to carry out maintenance operations and make sure the personnel in charge of the machine has read this manual. Do not carry out maintenance operations while the system is in operation All operations of maintenance and repair must be carried out with the electric supply cut off, maintenance in the electric part must be carried out by specialized personnel. Always use Casotti original spare parts, use of non original spare parts can cause irreparable damage to the system and to personnel. Normal maintenance of the sprayer is solved by lubricating the internal pivots of the cogged wheels, which give movement to the elbow nozzle support, by pumping lubricant into the grease box. It is not possible to see when lubrication is necessary therefore use 1 pump up a year as a reference. The Casotti sprayer has been designed in such a way that it does not have particular cleaning requirements; nevertheless, it is recommended to clean the tubes with water at the end of the work cycle. The machine is made of different types of material: they must be disposed of according to the laws in force in the country where the machine is used. Contact the appropriate authorities for locations and procedures. The first operation to be carried out is elimination of the electric connection between sprayer and the tractor. Unscrew the rubber tube which connects the pump to the sprayer, unscrew the orthogonal joint ( fig.30 spare parts) and remove the sprayer from the support tube. Disassemble the various parts of the sprayer and carry out disposal of the various parts, such as: - Stainless steel - Iron - Aluminium - Bronze - Rubber 16 17

C Instructions for use Open field treatments and weeding The use on grass crops is reserved for those situations preventing the use of traditional sprayers, for instance in the presence of obstacles to the machine passage. The Casotti sprayers are in particular suitable for anti-parasitic treatment. As far as weeding and drying up is concerned, they can be used only in certain conditions and with the adequate caution. The use of the machine is prohibited in the presence of wind or next to water streams as well as in areas defined as sensitive and vulnerable to phytosanitary products contamination. The sprayer can be applied to any carried or pulled equipment, supplied with tank and medium or high pressure pump, minimum 20 bar. The recommended operating pressure is 10 bar, a higher pressure may produce drops smaller than 50 µm, with a consequent risk of deviation. The machine must be positioned at a height of about cm from the ground or from the vegetation. According to the model, there are one or more jets, called elbow nozzle supports. The angle of oscillation varies depending on the model. Using the appropriate regulation screws, assemble the sprayer so that the elbows remain perfectly horizontal. The sprays must not hit the ground or the vegetation: the product must be sprayed in the air, so that it can fall to the ground. The useful operating width is 9 metres, calculated on the standard nozzles and an operating pressure of 10 bar. The total width, including the minor quantity sprayed on the sides, is of approximately 13 metres However, in the treatment on field keep in mind that a minor quantity is distributed at the two ends compared to the central part

Instructions for use C It is therefore recommended to spray at 9 metres next to obtain optimal distribution and to overlap the lateral distribution featuring less product. It is recommended to spray the perimeter of the field before proceeding with the rest of the field. Refer to the specific models for the correct method. When carrying out manoeuvres at bottom field liquid output must be interrupted, for example by deactivating the power take off. Idle movement does not cause problems. How do you calculate the quantity distributed per hectare? Referring to the tables of the specific models or applying a simple formula, see page 14 Is it possible to spray from one side only? Yes. With the model DUPIGET PRECISION, simply close one of the two supplies depending on the side that requires spraying. With the other models, you can proceed in different ways. Olive tree When treating the foliage of the olive tree, peach tree or similar, the sprayer jets work vertically, that is they oscillate from top to bottom and vice versa, at an angle of about 90, simulating the movement of the manual lance. The sprayer can be applied to any carried or pulled equipment, with a high pressure pump (50 bar); the recommended work pressure is 10/20 bar. Behind the tank a metal tube must be attached, which is long enough to place the sprayer at a height of approximately 2 metres from the ground. The angle of oscillation and the height from the ground is decided in accordance to the size of the trees. The sprayers for the olive trees have one or two bars, cod. 32/RAB The bar nozzles can be regulated, making it possible to vary the wideness and length of the range, and can be closed. If there are scattered trees, spraying must be carried out from one side only. The most suitable model is Electroget Olivo (page 53). In normal systems, if the trees are sufficiently big and close by, treatment can be done in a single phase from both sides, using model Dupiget Olivo (page 63). Spraying from one side only can be done even with Dupiget, by closing a pump delivery or by rotating the adjustable jets till they are closed. How do you not waste product between one olive tree and the next? Stop distribution of liquid (idle oscillation of the jets does not cause problems) in different ways: - Using the pump control unit. - Using the device Casotti STOPPER. - Completely automatically, using the device Casotti AQUILOTTO

Instructions for use C EUROGET Code EURO-A/P EUROGET is a 12V electrical device with horizontal oscillating jets suitable for weeding and treatments. Particularly indicated on uneven terrain, on a slope, with obstacles, and where it is impossible or uncomfortable to weed using a classic bar. The sprayer is made up of a machine body and some parts to be assembled: - 1 EURO type machine body - 1 orthogonal joint code 30-1 support code 29-1 long elbow code 40A - 1 small elbow 39AE - 1 plug code 31-2 revolving fittings code M300 The standard long elbow features a nozzle with a round hole Ø 2.5 mm and an anti-drip device, the small elbow features a fan shaped nozzle Ø 1.5 mm and an anti-drip device. The machine body is of the EURO type: there are two stainless steel through tubes, a central one that oscillates at 180, and a side one that oscillates at 90. The nozzles are made of steel or brass, with tungsten carbide or alumina (ceramic) inserts. Application to an existing system consisting of a tank and a pump EUROGET can be applied to any carried or pulled equipment, supplied with tank and pump. We recommend a medium or high pressure pump (minimum 20 bar maximum 50 bar) with a minimum capacity of 50 litres/min. The sprayer does not work with low pressure pumps. First, it is necessary to apply a metal tube Ø 48 (not provided) to the frame of the tank

Instructions for use C Assemble the orthogonal joint onto the tube (code 30), then insert the support (cod. 29) in the joint and tighten. Apply EUROGET to the support using the bolt and nut supplied with the support. Tighten the bolts to avoid the accidental fall of the machine. Place EUROGET in such a way that the jets are perfectly horizontal at a height of 50/60 cm from the ground or from the vegetation to be treated. ELBOW MOVEMENT 90 FAN SHAPED NOZZLE 90 (39AE) 180 (40A) Electric connection: Add cable to the current plug supplied (cod. 31) in order to reach the position on the tractor with a voltage of 12 volt. (For 24 volt connection, contact Casotti for specific instructions). A double pole cable minimum 2 x 1 in conformity with the current safety laws must be used. Warning: The plug coming with the machine has 2 codes next to the two poles, visible on the front side. When the cable is connected to the plug the positive pole has to be fitted into n 58. If the wires are reversed this can cause irreparable damage to the electric components of the sprayer. Insert the electrical plug (cod. 31) to the socket ( cod. 27) positioned on the side of the central body. Activate the switch (cod. 28) positioned on the body of the sprayer, and make sure power arrives. Always keep at a safe distance from the moving parts. Assembly of revolving fittings and elbows to the machine body From the plate side (high) screw the two revolving fittings to the two stainless steel tubes. When screwing the tube to the sprayer, hold the pivot with pliers to avoid the forced rotation of the internal mechanism. To assemble the elbows, proceed in this order: 1- Place the long elbow on the central stainless steel tube. Before tightening the nut, use the switch to stop the elbow in its maximum rotation from one side. The elbow must be perpendicular to the direction of operation, that is orientated to the right or to the left. Hold the pivot with pliers, tighten the nut and check that the rotation of the elbow describes an angle of about Bring the long elbow to the centre of the angle of oscillation. Screw the small elbow to the same position as the long one. When the motor is activated, the two elbows will cross. The correct movement of the two elbows is described in the following figure. ELBOW MOVEMENT 180 ROUND HOLE NOZZLE Hydraulic connection and maintenance The piping coming from the pump must be connected directly to the revolving fittings (code M300) supplied. Periodically grease the internal part of the revolving fitting (it is better to use Teflon grease). To disassemble it, remove the snap ring placed on its top. Can the angle of oscillation be varied? See page 15 Can EUROGET be used also for the treatment of trees? Yes, it is necessary to unscrew the two elbows (code 40A and code 39AE) and attach the olive tree bar code 32/RAB to the lateral stainless steel tube with angle of oscillation 90 For the instructions for use, see olive tree, page 21 Distribution: Place EUROGET at a height of about 50/60 cm from the ground or from the vegetation. The operating width of EUROGET is 9 metres (4.5 per side) + an area of minor spraying of approx. 4 m (2 per side) With EUROGET it is possible to reduce the operating area using only the central fan shaped jet, achieving an operating width of about 4 metres (2 per side + minor area of 1 per side). Respecting the distance of 9 metres between one spray and the next, the distribution uniformity is of 94.8 % (CV 5.2%). Use EUROGET at a pressure of 10 bar BODY OF THE MACHINE, 40A M300 39AE

Instructions for use C Distribution The continuous overlaying of the liquid dispensed is the principle on which our systems are based; this characteristic makes the distribution uniform even on particularly uneven soils. The unit of measurement used to determine the distribution uniformity is the CV (Variation Coefficient), and the value is expressed in percentage. According to current standards, the CV must be between 0% (absolute uniformity) and 10%. Operate only with the central fan-shaped nozzle The fan-shaped jet that oscillates at 90 allows to have greater precision on the edges. From the centre of the machine, the distribution is of 2 metres per side, plus a minor distribution of about 1 metre. If it is used to spray the field from the perimeter, proceed at about half the speed chosen for the treatment. The actual operating width, including the lateral distribution, is always about 13 metres, but thanks to the overlaying principle, it is possible to proceed along tracks that are 9 metres apart, with a CV of 5.2%. With EUROGET it is possible to reduce the work area using only the central fan shaped jet, achieving an operating width of about 4 metres (2 per side + minor area of 1 per side). We recommend using Teflon tape in the thread to prevent leaks. Do not change the size of the nozzles so as not to modify the distribution diagram. EUROGET with rubber hoses Code EURO-A ELBOW ANTI-DRIP DEVICE NOZZLE SUPPORT NOZZLE Refer to EUROGET (page 23) for all common information. The sprayer is made up of a machine body and some parts to be assembled: - 1 EURO type machine body - 1 orthogonal joint code 30-1 support code 29-1 support for the rubber hoses, cod elbow code 41-1 complete rubber hose code 5-1 short rubber hose cod long elbow code 40A - 1 small elbow 39AE - 1 plug code 31 CENTRAL RUBBER HOSE Assembly of tubes Screw the rubber hoses support onto the fusion and the elbow onto the rubber hose support. The long rubber hose code 5 must be installed in the central stainless steel tube and attached to the rubber hose support by tightening both the screw and the PVC tube. The short rubber hose code 38 must be screwed into the lateral stainless steel tube and in the elbow. When screwing the rubber hoses onto the sprayer hold the respective pivot with pliers to avoid the forced rotation of the internal mechanism. The rubber hose must be orientated so that their resistance to movement is the same in the two directions of oscillation. Rubber hose have particular textile intersections that reinforce the rubber and make it resistant to torsion and to weather conditions (from -30 C to +70 C) 30 31

Instructions for use C SUPERGET Code SUPER-A/P SUPERGET is a 12V electrical device with horizontal oscillating jets suitable for weeding and treatments. Particularly indicated on uneven terrain, on a slope, with obstacles, and where it is impossible or uncomfortable to weed using a classic bar. The sprayer is made up of a machine body and some parts to be assembled: - 1 SUPER type machine body - 1 orthogonal joint code 30-1 support code 29-1 long elbow code 12A - 1 medium elbow cod. 40A - 1 small elbow 39AS - 1 Double-pole current plug code 31-3 revolving fittings code M300 The two long elbows (code 12A and 40A) feature a nozzle with a round hole Ø 2.5 mm and an anti-drip device, the small elbow (code 39AS) features a fan shaped nozzle Ø 1.5 mm and an anti-drip device. The machine body is of the SUPER type: there are three stainless steel through tubes, a central one that oscillates at 180, an adjacent one that also oscillates at 180 C and a side one that oscillates at 90. The nozzles are made of steel or brass, with tungsten carbide or alumina (ceramic) inserts. Application to an existing system consisting of a tank and a pump SUPERGET can be applied to any carried or pulled equipment, supplied with tank and pump. We recommend a medium or high pressure pump (minimum 20 bar maximum 50 bar) with a minimum capacity of 50 litres/min. The sprayer does not work with low pressure pumps

Instructions for use C First, it is necessary to apply a metal tube Ø 48 (not provided) to the frame of the tank. Assemble the orthogonal joint onto the tube (code 30), then insert the support (cod. 29) in the joint and tighten. Apply SUPERGET to the support using the bolt and nut supplied with the support. Tighten the bolts to avoid the accidental fall of the machine. Place SUPERGET in such a way that the jets are perfectly horizontal at a height of 50/60 cm from the ground or from the vegetation to be treated. Electric connection: Add cable to the current plug supplied (cod. Assembly of revolving fittings and elbows to the machine body From the plate side (high) screw the three revolving fittings to the three stainless steel tubes. When screwing the tube to the sprayer, hold the pivot with pliers to avoid the forced rotation of the internal mechanism. To assemble the elbows, proceed in this order: 1) Position the long elbow (code 12A) on the central stainless steel tube. Before tightening the nut, use the switch to stop the elbow in its maximum rotation from one side. The elbow must be perpendicular to the direction of operation, that is orientated to the right or to the left. 2) Position the second long elbow (code 40A) on the adjacent tube with the opposite direction. Holding the stainless steel tube with pliers, tighten the two nuts and check that during rotation the elbows describe an angle of 180, crossing each other at the centre. 3) Using the power switch, bring the two long elbows to the centre of the angle of oscillation. Screw the small elbow in the third lateral stainless steel tube in the same position, so that all three elbows face the same direction. When the motor is activated, the three elbows will cross. The correct movement of the three elbows is described in the following figure. 2 ELBOW MOVEMENT 180 ROUND HOLE NOZZLE ELBOW MOVEMENT 90 FAN SHAPED NOZZLE BODY OF THE MACHINE, Hydraulic connection and maintenance 40A The piping coming from the pump must be connected directly to the revolving fittings (code M300) supplied. 22 Instructions for use C DUPIGET PRECISION Code DUPI/P DUPIGET PRECISION is a 12V electrical device with horizontal oscillating jets suitable for weeding and treatments. Particularly indicated on uneven terrain, on a slope, with obstacles, and where it is impossible or uncomfortable to weed using a classic bar. Unlike the other weeding models, with DUPIGET PRECISION you can also operate on one side only. The sprayer is made up of a machine body and some parts to be assembled: - 1 SUPER type machine body - 1 orthogonal joint code 30-1 support code 29-1 long elbow code 12A - 1 medium elbow cod. 40A - 1 Double-pole current plug code 31-2 revolving fittings code M300 The two long elbows (code 12A and 40A) feature a nozzle with a round hole Ø 2.5 mm and an anti-drip device. The machine body is of the SUPER type: there are three stainless steel through tubes, a central one that oscillates at 110, an adjacent one that also oscillates at 110 C and a side one that oscillates at 55. The nozzles are made of steel or brass, with tungsten carbide or alumina (ceramic) inserts. Application to an existing system consisting of a tank and a pump DUPIGET PRECISION can be applied to any carried or pulled equipment, supplied with tank and pump. We recommend a medium or high pressure pump (minimum 20 bar maximum 50 bar) with a minimum capacity of 50 litres/min

Instructions for use C The sprayer does not work with low pressure pumps. First, it is necessary to apply a metal tube Ø 48 (not provided) to the frame of the tank. Assemble the orthogonal joint onto the tube (code 30), then insert the support (cod. 29) in the joint and tighten. Apply DUPIGET PRECISION to the support using the bolt and nut supplied with the support. Tighten the bolts to avoid the accidental fall of the machine. Place DUPIGET PRECISION in such a way that the jets are perfectly horizontal at a height of 50/60 cm from the ground or from the vegetation to be treated. Electric connection: Add cable to the current plug supplied (cod. Assembly of revolving fittings and elbows to the machine body From the plate side (high) screw the two revolving fittings to the central stainless steel tubes. When screwing the tube to the sprayer, hold the pivot with pliers to avoid the forced rotation of the internal mechanism. To assemble the elbows, proceed in this order: 1) Position the long elbow (code 12A) on the central tube. Before tightening the nut, use the switch to stop the elbow in its maximum rotation from one side. The elbow must be perpendicular to the direction of operation, that is orientated to the right or to the left. 2) Position the second long elbow (code 40A) on the adjacent tube with the opposite direction. Holding the stainless steel tube with pliers, tighten the two nuts and check that during rotation the elbows describe an angle of 110, crossing each other at the centre. The correct movement of the three elbows is described in the following figure. BAR MOVEMENT 110 RIGHT OVERLAP JETS BODY OF THE MACHINE, BAR MOVEMENT 110 LEFT Hydraulic connection and maintenance The piping coming from the pump must be connected directly to the revolving fittings (code M300) supplied. Periodically grease the internal part of the revolving fitting (it is better to use Teflon grease). To disassemble it, remove the snap ring placed on its top. Can the angle of oscillation be varied? See page DX (12A) 110 SX (40A) Can DUPIGET PRECISION be used also for the treatment of trees? Yes. To treat on one side only, it is necessary to unscrew the two elbows and attach the olive tree bar (code 32/RAB) to the lateral tube with angle of oscillation 90 Also move one of the revolving fittings on another tube. To treat both sides, it is necessary to adjust the angle of oscillation to 90, unscrew the two elbows and apply 2 olive tree bars (code 32/RAB) to the central stainless steel tube and to the adjacent one. For the instructions for use, see olive tree, page 21 40A M300 12A 44 45

Instructions for use C Distribution: The continuous overlaying of the liquid dispensed is the principle on which our systems are based on; this characteristic makes the distribution uniform even on particularly uneven soils. The unit of measurement used to determine the distribution uniformity is the CV (Variation Coefficient), and the value is expressed in percentage. According to current standards, the CV must be between 0% (absolute uniformity) and 10%. Work only on one side With DUPIGET PRECISION it is possible to choose whether to work only on the right or on the left, closing one of the two pump supplies. Bear in mind, to calculate the distance from the edge, that from the short side the distribution from the centre of the sprayer is 3 metres, plus 3 metres of minor spraying. If it is used to spray the field from the perimeter, proceed at about 3/4 of the speed with which you intend to treat the field. Place DUPIGET PRECISION at a height of about 50/60 cm from the ground or from the vegetation. The actual operating width, including the lateral distribution, is always about 13 metres, but thanks to the overlaying principle, it is possible to proceed along tracks at different distances without compromising the distribution uniformity. With passages at 9 metres, a CV of 8.1% is achieved; at 8 metres the CV is 3.5%; and at 5 metres the CV drops to 1.8%, almost reaching perfection. With DUPIGET PRECISION it is possible to operate on one side only, simply by closing one of the two deliveries. 27 Instructions for use C ELECTROGET OLIVO Code EURO-B/O ELECTROGET OLIVO is a 12V electrical device with vertical oscillating jets specific for the treatment of trees. With ELECTROGET OLIVO you can treat only from one side. To treat two sides it is necessary to install two, one on the right and one on the left. It can be applied easily to any system equipped with a tank and a high pressure pump. Penetration through the leaves is guaranteed by the high pressure of the jets, with the possibility to adjust the angle and width depending on the needs. Thanks to these adjustments it is possible to treat plants up to 4 metres tall with the certainty that even the tips will be sprayed. The sprayer is made up of a machine body and some parts to be assembled: - 1 EURO type machine body - 1 orthogonal joint code 30-1 support code 29-1 bars with adjustable jets cod. 32/RAB - 1 revolving union cod. M300-1 Double-pole current plug code 31 The bar features 2 anti-drip devices and 2 adjustable jets with a nozzle with a round hole Ø 2 mm. The machine body is of the EURO type, that is there are two 1/2" through pipes on each side: a central one and a lateral one with an oscillation angle equal to half of the central one. Application to an existing system consisting of a tank and a pump ELECTROGET OLIVO can be applied to any carried or pulled equipment, supplied with tank and pump.

29) in the joint and tighten the bolts. Apply ELECTROGET OLIVO to the support using the bolt and nut supplied with the support. Tighten the bolts to avoid the accidental fall of the machine. To achieve good coverage on the leaves, place the sprayer at the centre. If the plant to be treated is about 4 metres tall, place ELECTROGET OLIVO at 2 metres in height. BODY OF THE MACHINE, M300 32/RAB Electric connection: Add cable to the current plug supplied (cod. GROUND Assembly of revolving fittings and elbows to the machine body From the plate side (high) screw the revolving fitting to the central stainless steel tube. Using a size 19 wrench, keep the stainless steel tube still by placing it in the hole on the other side of the sprayer, to avoid damaging the inner gears. To assemble the bars, proceed in this order: 1) Screw the olive tree bar (code 32/RAB) to the central stainless steel tube. Position the bars so that the jets are directed towards the foliage. When tightening the nut, always keep the stainless steel tube still using a size 19 wrench positioned in the dedicated hole. Check that the bar describes an angle of about 90 during oscillation. The correct movement of the bar is described in the following figure. Hydraulic connection and maintenance The piping coming from the pump must be connected directly to the revolving fitting (code M300) supplied. Periodically grease the internal part of the revolving fitting (it is better to use Teflon grease). To disassemble it, remove the snap ring placed on its top

Instructions for use C Distribution and adjustment To achieve good coverage on the leaves, place the sprayer at the centre. If the plant to be treated is about 4 metres tall, place ELECTROGET OLIVO at 2 metres in height. Adjust the oscillation angle in function of the height of the plants to be treated (see page 15 for instructions). The adjustable jets on the bar have two different settings: - change the width and the distance of the jet by turning the adjustable jet. - direct the jet to change the direction of the individual jets Table of the capacity of the individual nozzles Capacity l/min The table has been calculated on the basis of the data provided by the nozzle supplier. Bear in mind that the adjustment of the adjustable jet changes the flow rate of the nozzles. When the jet is adjusted with a wide cone (little distance), the capacity can be reduced even by 40% compared to the needle-shaped jet. We recommend, after finding the optimum setting of the jet depending on the plants to be treated, measuring the capacity of the nozzles and creating a customised table. To calculate the capacity of the jets, spray the liquid (use water only) for 30 seconds in a container, weigh the contents and multiply by 2. The highlighted part refers to the standard version of ELECTROGET OLIVO. Hole mm 10 bar 15 bar 20 bar 30 bar Use ELECTROGET OLIVO at a pressure between 10 and 20 bar. Depending on the setting of the jet diameter amplitude and on the operating pressure, drops of different sizes are obtained. A high pressure (20 bar) combined with a very wide jet (less distant) produces fine drops (greater drift). A low pressure (10 bar) combined with a very narrow jet (more distant) produces bigger drops (minor drift). Depending on the product being distributed and the weather conditions, choose the most suitable setting taking care to product the least drift possible.
