2 MESTO Centennial a Swabian Story of Success 1919 How it all began: The 50s and 60s Manufacture of hand-powered pesticide sprayers. Founded as the Engineering Originally made of ; later steel and stainless steel devices were added. Company Karl & Ernst Stockburger in Heutigsheim. Successive expansion of assortment and application for home, garden, construction and other professional use. 1923: Production of ashtrays, smoking sets, desk sets, and metal goods 1928: Production launch of plant protection equipment. MESTO s new annex with assembly hall and small-parts warehouse.
