2 Winch Design Winch Design The Neumann Equipment Range of are designed around the legendary Jaden Winches of the 1980's and 1990's. These winches are now fitted with Rexroth reduction hubs, fail safe multi disc auto lock brakes and highly efficient axial piston hydraulic motors. The drive system combined with our updated winch design has been fully FEA engineered to withstand the high demands and day to day stresses applied by the fishing industry. 3 Trawl Winches Trawl Winches Neumann Equipment offer a standard range of hydraulic Trawl Winches, as shown below. Electrically driven units are also available as an option. Using our experienced in house design team we can manufacture custom Trawl Winches to suit your specific requirements. 4 Try Winches Try Winches Neumann Equipment Try Winches are versatile with their compact design, making them suitable to be used as small lazy line winches. The electric or hydraulic system controls the dynamic drum braking, while the fail safe multidisc brake locks the drum while in a stationary position. The vertically mounted motor minimises the winch footprint, increasing usable deck area. There are two power options available: electric or hydraulic. (See table below for details). Larger units are available to suit specific requirements. 6 Windlass Anchor Winches Windlass Anchor Winches Neumann Equipment electric and hydraulic Windlass Anchor Winches are designed and manufactured from tough, high quality components for reliability at sea. There are two configurations for the Windlass Anchor Winches: Chain gypsies retrieve the chain and feed into a locker below; Drums which store the chain and rope on a drum. The Windlass Anchor Winch units are either hydraulically or electrically driven and controlled. The Windlass Anchor Winch gypsy and windlasses are manufactured with components made from a range of materials including steel, cast iron or bronze.
