20 DOORS FOR PANDA SHELVING SYSTEMS ASUD 1875 Open Spring Loaded Pivots Doors are fitted easily with the help of pivots on the base support plate and spring loaded pivots on the top support plate. Lockable doors for panda shelving systems are available in two heights of 1275mm and 1875mm only. These doors are powder coated in the same color as per the shelves and roll posts to make it uniform in appearance. Lockable doors secure and protect the stored contents from dust, damage and theft. Doors are modular in nature and can be added to the existing shelving systems. Doors can be used with add on shelving units and can only be fitted on every alternate bay of shelving unit. Doors can also be used on back to back add on shelving units. Doors are pivoted on two lintels, top lintel is mounted in line with the top shelf, the bottom lintel is mounted on the base level of the shelving unit due to which the usable height in the shelving system gets reduced. 22 High Visibility Pallet Rack Upright Protector Design Philosophy VISIPRO RACK PROTECTOR VISIPRO Upright Protector design cues have been drawn from the requirements of FEM regarding impact loads and protection for pallet racking. FEM draws the distinction between protection for uprights at the end of racks between cross aisles and gangway intersections which require protection from any direction, compared with intermediate uprights that require protection in a direction normal to the aisle. We recommend using an independent steel guard for end of racks and the VISIPRO High Visibility Upright Protector for intermediate uprights. FEM is very specific about designing intermediate protectors for forces normal to the aisle, to ensure that the protectors do not reduce the clear entry of the bay.
