2 RapidBalance Compatibility RapidBalance Excel 10 All Models of Spyder 4.3 Yes Yes WEBs-AX and XL10 Controller Resource Guidelines Under standard conditions, the general guidelines below can be used to determine the maximum number of Excel 10, Excel 15C, and T7350 controllers that can be installed on the LONWORKS network for each WEBs-AX controller listed. Trends, schedules, program applications, and the use of additional protocol drivers increase the resource load within the WEBs-AX controllers and will negatively impact the limit of controllers on the LONWORKS network. Be sure to factor this into your network limit estimate. 5 Spyder Licensing Licensing of the Spyders is implemented within tool version 4.x and later. Going forward every WEBs controller or Workbench that will download to Spyder Controllers will require a new Honeywell.license for Workbench and Honeywell.license for WEBs controllers. All license files will include the DR-SPYDER-BAC feature for Spyder BACnet controllers or DR-SPYDER-LON for Spyder Lon controllers. The new Honeywell.license is specific to each WEBs controller or Workbench based on the Host ID. A corresponding Honeywell.certificate is necessary for the new Honeywell.license file to work. The Honeywell.certificate is not unique and can be used on any WEBs controller or Workbench. Licenses for all existing Honeywell WEBs controllers and Workbenches were automatically updated on October, 16, This includes all of the following: Engineering (Office) Demo WEB-600 (including open and demo versions) WEB-700 WEB-NXT SoftJACE How to check what you are licensed for: 1. Navigate to hosts Platform > License Manager > Honeywell.license View of the Honeywell.license : If you do not see the new Spyder features on your WEB-600 controllers, please connect to the internet and download it from the license server (option 3 on the screenshot below)
