2 Kingdom of Britannia 4 x Steward Class Guardian Tank Product Code: DWKB32 As the World War evolves, so must the engines of war transform with it. After witnessing the potential of the Republique s infamous breakthrough tank the Kingdom of Britannia Land Armada knew it needed something that could fight toe-to-toe with the French Char 1C. The answer which emerged from the Brunel Academy has been dubbed the Steward Class Guardian Tank. Mounting a powerful turret mounted cannon at its fore, the Steward poses a significant threat to larger vehicles when in squadron strength or deployed alongside Mk II s. However, the Academy s real achievement was in modifying the bulky and power-hungry shield systems to fit in the Guardian Tank s chassis. With protection normally reserved for the largest of vessels, these Tanks can weather the heaviest assaults the Imperial Bond can throw their way.

3 Kingdom of Britannia 6 x Foxhound Class Light Tank Product Code: DWKB33 Operations by the Britannian Tank Regiments across the world in 1871 revealed to the commanders of the Kingdom s land forces that there was a need for a vehicle which combined the agility and speed of the Terrier battle tank with some of the MkII s firepower. The answer was found in a design by the Farley Wagon and Automotive Company, working alongside Brunel Academy specialists. Farley s Foxhound combines a scaled-down MKII hull with a new Armstrong automatic 6 cannon. It fulfils a number of battlefield roles, including short-range fire support for Terrier squadrons and heavy armed recon. However, one particular duty which it has made its own is acting as an armed Forward Observation unit for Britannian artillery batteries.

4 Prussian Empire 4 x HM-1 Recke Class Heavy Tank Product Code: DWPE32 Just like their rivals, the Prussian army s high command quickly recognised the need to reinforce the Land Fleets with an effective heavy tank design. However, rather than simply scaling down their existing Land Ship, the engineers of Dortmund-Rheinfabrik produced an innovative new type of vehicle, combining the main strengths of both the Land Fleet and the Reichswehr. Although mounting a formidable array of gun batteries and Tesla coils, the Recke s main purpose is to carry masses of hardened Prussian infantry directly into the heart of the battle. Personally approved by Sire Jaeger of the Reichswehr, the HM-1 protects its cargo during the most dangerous and crucial stages of an assault, allowing them to deploy straight into combat against whatever of the enemy remains after a Prussian armoured blitz!

5 Federated States of America 3 x Triumph Pattern Reno Class Command Tank Product Code: DWFS32 The standard Reno Class gun tank is fast acquiring a reputation as a formidable fighting machine on the battlefields of the Sturginium Age. However, as is well known, raw power is valueless without proper direction. The Triumph Pattern command tank, designed alongside the Reno, provides exactly the kind of overarching control that formations of these mighty machines require. The Triumph is a dedicated command vehicle, dispensing entirely with the standard main battery. Replacing the turret is a heavily armoured control tower from which a formation commander can operate in safety with his entire staff and a battery of communications and signalling equipment. Not only that, the bunker incorporates a powerful narrowbeam searchlight, allowing gunnery specialists to mark targets identified by the commander for utter destruction by the guntanks under his control.

6 Empire of the Blazing Sun 1 x O-I Miage-Nyudo Class Heavy Walker Product Code: DWBS33 The Empire of the Blazing Sun s armies are frequently called upon to fight in adverse terrain against a wide variety of opponents. Consequently, the Empire s military favours radical designs for its heaviest land-based fighting units. The Blazing Sun s mighty heavy walkers can operate in areas that would defeat conventional Land Ships. The famous Imperial Alchemical Institute has also ensured that the machines are themselves highly adaptable. The Miage-Nyudo variant, which has been issued in particular to army units serving in the confined island and jungle-covered warzones of South East Asia, is a highly effective, not to mention intimidating command unit. Replacing the standard walker s heavy gun turret with a high pagoda-styled observation tower, the machine elevates senior commanders and artillery spotters far above ground-based obstructions, no matter how harsh the terrain. The machine is also far from defenceless, retaining the standard knee gun turrets of the regular war machine. Its central tower is studded with dozens of rocket tubes, capable of plastering enemy forces with salvoes of fiery devastation.

7 Empire of the Blazing Sun 6 x Myobu Class Light Gyro Tank Product Code: DWBS32 The Imperial Alchemical Institute is well-known for producing radical solutions to problems, but occasionally they manage to surpass even themselves with their ingenuity and imagination. The Myobu Class light tank is definitely one of those ideas a piece of ground based armour capable of limited flight. The tank is constructed almost entirely of the same light-weight alloys used to build the gyros of the Blazing Sun s aerial fleets, and has a small graviton array and a pair of turbofans coupled to its engine. While the tank has nowhere near the endurance in the air of a true flying engine, this extraordinary arrangement gives it immense flexibility. The Myobu is designed for rapid deployment from transport barges during amphibious assaults, as well as scouting and fighting in areas utterly inaccessible to normal tanks. It is also an artillery spotter almost without equal on the ground. In these circumstances, its lighter armour is rarely an issue, and its main battery still packs a punch almost as heavy as that of its larger Chi-Ri brother.

8 Covenant of Antarctica 6 x Orpheus Class Drone Controller 6 x Tiny Drone (Flyer) Tokens Product Code: DWCA32 With its relatively small population and extremely hostile home territory, the Covenant of Antarctica s military has long depended on highly elite living fighting units, with heavily mechanised support. This is particularly the case with the nation s ground forces. With the Covenant s entry into large-scale operations in the World War, the Orpheus Drone Controller has been rolled out to its land armies. Based on the sturdy Socrates hull, and nicknamed the Dronemaster, it is part tank and part armoured control centre. The presence of these vehicles acts as a failsafe in the event of communications breakdowns with automated units on the field, as well as increasing their performance. The Orpheus strong hull shields a crew of special Mechanist-Controllers, who can command diverse unmanned fighting machines including drone aircraft and combat-optimised Iron Men, with special radio and visual communications gear.

9 Covenant of Antarctica 4 x Skorpios Class Heavy Bombard Product Code: DWCA33 With the move from raids to full-blooded battles, the Covenant of Antarctica has seen the need to develop heavier artillery weapons to destroy enemy war engines and fortified installations. Although some in the nation s leadership, including Sturgeon himself, are fearful of unleashing such power, the Covenant military is adamant at this point, superior firepower is essential in convincing the world s wayward nations of the error of their ways. Those on the receiving of a Skorpios battery would readily agree with this sentiment. Based on the well-tried Atticus spider-tank, the Skorpios frame is heavily reinforced to bear the mighty Long Lance accelerator-cannon. Using a small Sturginium pressure engine, the weapon generates a coiled magnetic field through which it hurls shots at ferocious velocities. The kinetic force alone can smash apart the toughest armour, and eyewitness reports speak of the streaking projectiles setting the air itself aflame with their passing.

10 Russian Coalition 4 x Orlov Class Heavy Tank Product Code: DWRC32 Even by the standards of the Sturginium Age, the armoured units of the Russian Coalition are big and brutish. Outwardly crude, they possess a surprising amount of subtle technology beneath their blunt, armoured shells, and the monstrous Orlov heavy tank is no exception. Developed at the order of Marshal Cherdenko in late 1870, as a means of providing support for Land Ships and hardened spearheads for the Shock Armoured Regiments, the Orlov is effectively an enlarged version of the Kamchatka Class tank. This mighty tank carries almost as much firepower as the gunships of the White Navy, and two can be constructed for that same cost as a single Belgorod, further emphasising the White Army s numerical strength. Orlovs are frequently chosen as headquarters by mid-ranked Oprichnina officers, the tank s massive firepower serving as inspiration to the Tsar s soldiers, and a powerful inducement to any backsliders to hold their place in the line!

11 Republique of France 4 x Arbalete Class Medium Land Carrier 4 x Tiny Flyer Tokens Product Code: DWRF32 The Legions of the Republique of France have long placed a strong importance on combined-arms forces, relying on technologically advanced and highly co-ordinated forces to make up for their lack of crude strength in numbers. Among their requirements is for Legion ground forces to have a sophisticated combined air defence network. The Arbalete carrier tank forms an important link in this versatile chain. Based on the Char 1C breakthrough tank, this machine, which entered service late in 1871, incorporates an ingenious pivoting flight deck with a powerful catapult arrangement to launch aircraft skywards almost from a standing start. Although only a small number of aeroplanes are carried, they can be effectively loaded and launched in quick succession from the tank s internal hangar. This allows Arbalete squadrons to provide rapid-response local fighter cover for air defence, or to strike against enemy flying engines that might otherwise threaten the French ground forces.
