Every seat is permanently labeled with a serial number, a one-year warranty and our toll free telephone number. Your warranty is automatically activated on date of purchase. If a product appears to be defective, call Mustang to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization form (RMA). All returns must be carefully packed to avoid shipping damage; you are responsible for return shipping charges. Mustang will, at their discretion, repair or replace the defective portion of the seat or accessory and return it to you freight paid. 4 Seat Styles & Descriptions Variations of styles and descriptions are available depending on the motorcycle make and model. Some seats have a two-piece look but are built on a single baseplate. DAYTRIPPER Mustang s detailed stitch work and advanced comfort technology is incorporated into this totally new style of custom seat. Ride low, look cool and still be comfortable. Never before has such a low and lean seat been available that feels this good for both the rider and passenger. SPORT TOURING STYLE The comfort of a touring seat with a sporty, stylish look. WIDE STUDDED STYLE The perfect combination of comfort and traditional styling. Features a skirt with braided edge trim, chrome studs, and leather tied conchos. WIDE VINTAGE STYLE The same specifications of the Wide Studded style with the braided edge skirt but no studs or conchos. DRIVER BACKREST TOURING STYLES The ultimate in comfort and versatility, the driver backrest is fully adjustable and easily removable without tools. Available with or without studs and conchos. REGAL DUKE WIDE REGAL STYLE A soft pillow top tufted with covered buttons highlight this touring seat. A streamlined version of the Wide Regal style. Split construction keeps the passenger from sliding forward. SQUAREBACK The Squareback is a sharply contoured design. The cover has sewn-in center panels but no buttons or unnecessary stitch work to clutter its clean look. 4 FASTBACK Cut low to the ground with enough molded foam to be comfortable. The tapered rear section flows smoothly to the fender, yet has adequate padding to be used as a passenger seat.

Mustang s president, Al Simmons, insists that not only must every Mustang seat be good enough to go on an employee s own motorcycle, each must be show bike quality! All components are hand assembled to give you a quality finished product because, with a welldesigned seat, there is no reason to be uncomfortable. You should always enjoy your ride-- whether five miles or all day. Mustang seats are meticulously designed so that the baseplate, foam and cover components combine to make the finest, most comfortable seat possible. Baseplate: All baseplates are designed and manufactured at our New England facility. The baseplate is made of marine-grade fiberglass, 3/16 thick, finished in high gloss gel coat. All brackets are riveted in place. Exposed brackets are bright chrome plated. Hidden brackets have a tough, black epoxy powder coat finish. ; Foam: d dd d The edges of all baseplates have a steel reinforced, impact absorbing vinyl edge trim to protect the seat cover. d Polyurethane rubber bumpers are strategically located and riveted to the baseplate to prevent it from touching the frame and fender and to minimize vibration. Bumpers will not crack with age and are ozone protected. Mustang s unique internal steel support wings are added to the baseplate to provide maximum passenger comfort. These wings support the entire width of the molded foam. This feature is found on most Mustang touring seats. All foam is compounded and molded at our New England facility. Decorative studs are plated brass, not steel, and will never rust. Conchos are custom, heavy die cast zinc, not a thin stamping and are hand-tied with genuine leather straps. Our fringe is vat dyed leather so that the color goes all the way through. Regal styles are tufted with covered buttons which are double tied with four cords, not two. Mustang seats do not lose their buttons. Mustang s fully adjustable driver backrest is the answer to your riding comfort--whether across town or cross-country! Designed and Manufactured to the Highest Standards Studs are on the back, not on the top where you can catch them with your boot. Contoured backrest pad measures approximately 7 high by 12 wide. All exposed hardware is chrome-plated for a custom look. Foam surrounds the hardware to provide maximum comfort. Nylon friction washers and stop nuts keep the mechanism tight with smooth operation. d Chrome steel backrest post slides in and out of receptacle that is reinforced and riveted directly into the baseplate for strength. Ball-end, spring loaded detent screw is set at the factory to ensure positive height adjustment stops. d 6
