3 2 PTO-drive under-chassis systems Under-chassis, PTO-drive compressor systems transform your truck into a mobile air compressor, increases your productivity, and lowers your fleet maintenance costs. There is no equipment to tow, no additional engine to maintain, and no risk of theft. The bed space is free for additional payload and the towing hitch is free to pull other vital jobsite equipment. Experience air-on-demand with a Cyclone Air Power under chassis compressor system PATENTED COOLING SYSTEM The patented plate-type, oil-to-water heat exchanger system utilizes the vehicle's engine cooling package for compressor oil cooling. This cooling package mounts completely within the vehicle frame rails and has no mechanical or electrical parts. A standard 12-volt fan/radiator cooling system is available for applications where an engine has inadequate coolant flow. UNIQUE THROTTLE CONTROL SYSTEM The Cyclone Air Power product line includes electronic throttle control systems that can proportionally adjust engine speed based on air-tool demand, regulate engine speed for optimal operation of electronic equipment, or maintain a fixed engine speed regardless of load on the system. 7 6 Electronic throttle control just when you need it In keeping with computer developments on new trucks, Cyclone Air Power offers a truly proportional electronic throttle control for PTO-driven compressor applications. This Cyclone Air Power throttle control is a state-of-the-art control system capable of regulating compressor air pressure to match the air demand of the tools being used. Its unique design also allows it to operate generators, welders, or hydraulic systems as needed. This is the only electronic throttle control with a state-of-the-art control system capable of regulating engine rpm to meet volume and pressure to match the demand of the tools being used. The electronic throttle control interfaces with the truck's electronic control module (ECM) to adjust engine speed based on tool demand to maintain set point (point at which engine starts to drop to preset idle) pressure. In generator or welder mode, engine speed is automatically adjusted to maintain 60 Hz output, regardless of transmission type. Installed and supported by our network of authorized distributors around the country, the Cyclone Air Power electronic throttle control can be installed and adjusted specifically for your application.
