7 Engineering Services Product Development Our involvement in product development is extensive and we have a capability that is comprehensive and ready to meet any new challenges. has a team of experienced OEM engineers who understand the challenges of new product development and can tailor the following services to support client needs. CAD Services is a highly flexible resource that integrates with your business and can support you with partial or full control of the workflow. We are able to support with the transfer of existing designs over to CAD, through to full service support including; Part release and BOM support. Component design support in a wide variety of technologies. I.e. Fuel system. Body mechanisms. Body in White. Powertrain / Drivetrain components. Electrical. is capable in a variety of CAD formats and operate the latest native Solid works licenses and design tools. Surfacing Services are able to assist with scanning and surfacing support for your next project. We have the ability to develop Class A surface models from sketch, point cloud or existing engineering data / reverse engineered from physical parts by 3D digital scanning of existing parts. Class A surface modeling will meet.001mm position,.05deg tangency and has a fully curvature continuous patch structure or can adhere to custom criteria to meet customer requirements. *Mk4 GT40 under development at APS

8 Engineering Services Structural Durability and Test Component Rig test Development / Testing Services has a long project history and experience with developing and executing rig testing for OEM s and its suppliers. We have supported both new design DVP testing, verifying compliance to specifications through to warranty investigation work. In house fabrication and design work means we are able to support tight project deadlines and provide reporting and failure analysis where required. Included in our capabilities is a structural rig which has up to 20 tonne load capacity with data logging and instrumentation to measure loads, deflection and strain where required. Prior testing experience includes; - Motorsport, CAMS Roll cage crush testing - Door side intrusion bar testing - ECE R93 Front under run protection beam testing - Trucks

9 Engineering Services Powertrain Powertrain Development / Measurement also own and operate equipment to support both internal and external engine hardware design, assembly and testing. We can also provide assistance with any powertrain hardware design, including simulation and modeling through to part validation on either of our test facilities. We are accredited to provide certification for both light passenger and heavy vehicles for use on roads across Australia. Our certification capabilities includes; RCVS, national certification. VASS, Victorian certification for modified vehicles. Certification experience with other regional markets. Security / Camouflage development To keep your program secure, we have a range of options and techniques available to camouflage your test vehicles. We have a varied list of test tracks, special surfaces and race tracks on offer to support your speciallised needs. Quality is assured as have a wide range of equipment and talented technicians that are able to fabricate anything that you require such as; Suspension components Engine inlet & exhaust systems Powertrain components Engine cooling pipework Brake adaptation Chassis and frame structures *Frame fabrication at APS facility CNC milling & Machining have a number of skilled and experienced staff who can cover a wide range of assignments using latest 3D CAD/CAM software technology. CNC milling centers are have a capacity of 1000mm x 600mm x 500mm, work space. CNC turning center is capable of OD Ø400mm x 1200mm work area. Composites / Pattern and Moulds offer a range of composite materials, from which parts can be manufactured with simple, cost effective open moulding or with our specially developed compression moulding methods. The compression moulding method has proven to produce high resin-to-fiber efficiency parts as well as allowing for high quality geometric detail.
