2 WHERE HANDCRAFTED WORKMANSHIP IS THE STANDARD Our company was founded over 40 years ago in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina where pride in workmanship still means something. We have over 600 associates who are dedicated to building the best quality product in our price range. Our products are designed and crafted by hand and will provide our customers many years of comfort and enjoyment. We proudly stamp our furniture that is manufactured in Taylorsville, N.C. Made in the U.S.A. The core business is affordable, custom order upholstery that represents one of the best values in the industry. With over 140 living room styles, 100 accent chair styles, and up to 1000 fabric options, each of our customers can easily fulfill their decorating needs. We offer several styling directions including Contemporary, Casual, Traditional, Country and Transitional. We take seating comfort seriously. Hundreds of hours go into the product development process when creating our new sofas, loveseats and chairs. The correct seat pitch and cushion softness are critical elements to creating the right comfort level of our furniture. Earth Care Inside embraces components created from renewable or recycled materials. What this means to you is a smaller environmental footprint while maintaining the highest quality value. Cushioning With Preserve HR, the world s first bio-based foam, you now have cushioning made using soybean based polyol instead of petroleum based polyol. The result is a product that reduces dependency on oil and takes 60% less non-renewable energy to create. Tests confirm that Preserve HR cushioning retains its initial properties longer and therefore is more durable. Sinuous Wire Springs Steel springs are manufactured from 50% or more scrap-based steel. Sleeper Mechanisms 70-80% of the steel used to manufacture the sleeper mechanism comes from scrap-based steel. Sleeper Mattresses Innerspring base is manufactured from 50% or more scrap-based steel. Polyester fiber comfort layers are made from recycled plastic bottles. Fiber Back Cushions Back cushions are made from re-generated materials developed from recycled plastic bottles. Frame Wooden frames are made from verified sustainable Appalachian hardwoods harvested from replanted forests. Packaging Packaging materials consisting of cardboard, nonwoven inner liner and plastic outer liner are 100% recyclable. CertiPUR-US Certified All polyurethane foam components are certified to meet content emissions and durability standards of CertiPUR-US. As part of the ongoing commitment to our environmental initiatives, as of 6/1/14, all products manufactured do not contain fire retardant (FR) in any of the foam based components. * Excludes Leather Products
