7 General Regulations ㅣ 01 ㅣ Organizer - The organizer of the 11th Green Car Korea ( GCK ) is Kimdaejung Convention Center, 30 Sangmunuriro, Seogu, Gwangju [61958], South Korea. - GCK may delegate all or part of its power to the Show-President, the Managing Director as well as to the Commissions it has nominated, namely to the Exhibitor s Commission. ㅣ 02 ㅣ Charter of Constitution - The purpose of the exhibition is to provide a neutral platform within the available space for automobile manufacturers worldwide. - Organizer is empowered to prevent or stop any violations of the foregoing principles and rules and to eliminate any impact. ㅣ 03 ㅣ Application for Stand Surface Rental - Applications are only valid if made on the official online form or PDF file form and submitted before the deadline set on the 15th June of the year preceding the exhibition. - Late applications will only be considered within the limits of space availability. - The receipt of the application does not constitute an acceptance of the offer made by the exhibitor and does not entail a guarantee for its admission. - By submitting the application form, the exhibitor accepts all rules of these General Regulations and gives a mandate to the Committee to manage the exhibition in the exhibitor s name. - Before the 19th June of the year preceding the exhibition, all exhibitors must submit complete plans relating to the outfitting and decoration of their stand to the organizer for approval. - All stands must be completed, exhibits displayed and packaging material removed by Wednesday 4th July, ㅣ 04 ㅣ Waiver by the exhibitor - In case the exhibitor waives to participate after 15th June, 2018, the organizer has no obligation to refund any payment made for the stand. - In case the exhibitor waives to participate before 15th June, 2018, the deposit is reimbursed. ㅣ 05 ㅣ Cancellation by the organizer - The organizer may cancel a registration or a stand attribution subsequently at any time based on important reasons and without compensation. - The deposit remains with the organizer if the reason for cancellation has been set by the exhibitor. In all other cases, the organizer refunds the deposit after deducting costs already incurred for the exhibitor s stand. ㅣ 06 ㅣ Stand Layout, Fittings and Maintenance - Organizer is responsible for issuing the rules for the general decoration of the exhibition premises. - Organizer can remove exhibits from the stands in case that they are not included in the application. - Exhibitors must ensure that they know the location, dimensions and layout of their stand. - Organizer is available to arrange stand visits. - Exhibitors are responsible for fitting-out their stands. - Exhibitors may not mount any decoration or installation or present any display on their stand that could in any way be considered prejudicial to another exhibitor. Organizer reserves the right to remove or modify at the risk and expense of the exhibitor any installation detrimental to the general appearance of the exhibition, or causing any danger or nuisance to other exhibitors or to the public. ㅣ 07 ㅣ Right of Access - From the beginning of construction to the end of dismantling, i.e. from 8th to 9th July, 2018, the organizer has right of access to the exhibition grounds. - Organizer reserves the right to expel from the exhibition grounds any organizations or person infringing these regulations, in particular persons who are found on the grounds without an admission pass or misusing admission passes, and to confiscate those admission passes without providing compensation. ㅣ 08 ㅣ Payment of the Stand Surface Fee - The full rental fee of the desired stand surface becomes due upon application. The invoicing for the stand surface is done in two steps: half of the entir fee for the desired surface is invoiced right after reception of admission form and has to be paid within TWO weeks after submission. The balance is invoiced once a stand has been allocated and need to be paid no later than 3th July of the preceding the exhibition. ㅣ 09 ㅣ Security Regulations - Exhibitors are obliged to use only non-flammable or fire-retardant materials for decoration. - Explosive materials or other dangerous substances are prohibited. Gasolin tanks of vehicles or parts must not contain more than 2 liters of fuel. All batteries must be disconnected and tank caps locked. ㅣ 10 ㅣ Security/Surveillance - The organizer has commissioned surveillance of the exhibition grounds from the beginning of construction up to the end of dismantling. It does not replace the surveillance of an individual stand. - Supply and service companies and other facilities and organizations registered by the organizer may enter into additional agreements concerning surveillance of their property brought onto the grounds. ㅣ 11 ㅣ Insurance - Each exhibitor has to insure himself at his own expense against fire damage and natural hazards. If an exhibitor cannot produce written evidence of such insurance, he must make a full and accurate declaration of the value of his exhibits and equipment, which will then be insured against fire, on his behalf and at his expense. - Exhibitors are liable for any damage caused to other stands, installations, person or property of third parties, irrespective of whether they have cause the damage themselves or whether they have been caused by their employees or a person mandated by them. - All other risks (accident, theft, water damage, Etc.) are likewise the sole responsibility of the exhibitor, who should take further insurance for these risks as deemed necessary. ㅣ 12 ㅣ Dispute - In case of legal dispute between the exhibitor and a third party, the organizer is neither liable toward the exhibitor or the third party, nor in any other way subject to pay damages. ㅣ 13 ㅣ Eviction of an Exhibitors due to the Breach of the Rule - Any breach of General Regulations can lead to the immediate eviction, temporary or definitive of the exhibitor from the exhibition. - The exhibitor has no right to indemnification or other compensation arising from the eviction.
