1 SUBARU OF TAIWAN WARRANTY EXTENDED PACKAGE SUBARU vehicles are warranted for 3 years /100,000 km (whichever comes first) from the date of vehicle registration. This warranty extended package customers can purchase at Motor Image or its authorized service centers only. Then the vehicle can be warranted to 4 years /unlimited mileage. Warranty extended package content Explanation: SUBARU vehicles are warranted for 3 years /100,000 km (whichever comes first) from the date of vehicle registration. Customers can purchase extended package for extra 1 year / unlimited mileage. The customers must be aware of purchasing extended package not covered everything by warranty. Vehicle must use normally in the period of warranty. If parts malfunction due to material or production process issue, SUBARU will cover all the cost by this warranty for free after SUBARU authorized partners inspection. Free Tow Service: SUBARU owners can dial 24-hour service hotline in case of emergency roadside assistance service or roadside assistance service needed in the period of warranty. Towing car will carry the vehicle to the nearest authorized SUBARU service center with unlimited mileage and free of charge. Emission Control System Warranty: The emission control system is regulatory compliance to E.P.A. SUBARU vehicles are warranted for 5 years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first) for the emission control system. Customers can purchase warranty extended package to prolong to 5 years /120,000 km (whichever comes first). What is not covered by warranty The warranty does not cover items listed below: 1. Vehicle has been used or engaged in any kind of improper track competition, over-loaded, off-road driving style, racing, modification, repair and maintenance etc. 2. Vehicle has been modified powertrain system with software and hardware, including engine, transmission, drive shaft and related electrical equipment /wire harness. 3. Part malfunction caused by accident, soaked in water. 4. Painting defect and rust not covered by extended warranty. 5. In the warranty period, vehicle not perform maintenance in accordance with service schedule, lack of service record, mishandling vehicle or improper maintenance or service executed by unauthorized

2 workshop. 6. The cost for periodical maintenance parts or labor cost for service actions such as engine adjustment, cleaning of cooling and fuel system, cleaning of engine carbon and oil sludge, brake system adjustment, wheel alignment, tire balance and front/rear rotation, belt adjustment etc. Periodical maintenance parts including belt, wiper, bulb, fuse, brake pad and disc, clutch, filter, coolant, battery water, engine oil, manual/at/cvt fluid, differential oil, brake fluid and other lubricants etc. 7. Consumables such as spark plug, chassis rubber bushes, engine/transmission mount, rubber or plastic products, glasses product etc. 8. Conditions caused by normal physical phenomenon such as wear, sound, vibration or quality deterioration. 9. Vehicle s mileage is unable to determine the actual mileage. 10. Cost caused by dealing malfunction vehicle, ex: transportation fare, regulatory fines and loss of business. 11. Vehicle or related parts defect caused by oil and/or parts provided by customer. 12. Paint, battery, tire, audio/navigation system supplied by local manufacturer. If you have any doubts about extended your warranty, please contact your dealer. For other warranty-related information, please refer to the SUBARU Warranty and Service Manual. Scope of Purchasing and Qualification Basis 1. This extended warranty does not apply to the vehicles age over 2 years or mileage more than 60,000 km. 2. Vehicles with full maintenance records on authorized service center are preferred. 3. Carry out all recall campaigns of vehicle. 4. Not including rental cars, business cars, driving school training cars, cars bought by government agencies and special project purchase. 5. Non-original vehicle specifications or unauthorized modification does not apply for this package

3 6. SUBARU service center has the right to carry out vehicle inspection, and have right to decide whether to sell this warranty package. This warranty package may not be used in combine with other promotion. Subaru of Taiwan reserves the right to change or suspend the contents and price of this extended warranty package. The extended warranty can transfer to new owner of the vehicle but cannot request a refund. 2. Customers encounter car stolen or scrapped, warranty package can be refunded. Please bring the original purchase invoice to the original dealer to apply refund. In accordance with the remaining extended warranty period, the original dealer will calculate the amount for the warranty parts price and labor already paid. The purchase price will deduct from this amount. If there is balance, the refund will be paid according by the percentage of remaining days. Conditions other than stolen or scrapped cannot apply refund.
