3 Getting to know your product Solar lights work by using electricity generated by the solar panel to charge internal batteries, these batteries are then used to power the light. 4 How To Operate 1 Remove from packaging and remove try me function clip from solar panel (). Remove stake (4) from the plastic stem (3). 3 Reverse the stake and push the stake back into the stem. 4 Take the solar panel () and connect to the other end. This is then fully assembled. 5 Replacing the Batteries To gain access to the battery compartment on the underside of the solar panel unscrew the four screws with a terminal screwdriver.
