This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 240D/120VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable spiderbox is designed to operate with 240D/120V 60hz input which it then provides 120V 1PH and 240V 3PH receptacles on the output side. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120VAC available via eight 20A, 125V GFCI protected 5-20 duplex receptacles with weatherproof covers and 240VAC available via one 30A, 250V L15-30R twist lock receptacle and one 60A 460R9W pin and sleeve receptacle with waterproof covers. 3 Description: 15' of 1/0 Type-W line in power cord is included to connect the substation to a primary 240D/120V primary power supply. The 240D/120V 3 phase main load center is protected by a 200 amp main breaker. 120V line out protection is provided by eight 20-amp, 125 Volt, 1 pole breakers. 240V line out protection is provided by one 30-amp, 250 Volt, 3 pole breaker and one 60-amp 250 Volt, 3 pole breaker. Connection for 240D/120V is through receptacles mounted on the side of the load center. Receptacles include eight V, GFCI waterproof duplex receptacles, one 250V L15-30R watertight receptacle, and one 250V 460R9W receptacle. The load center is mounted within NEMA 3R enclosure. The distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution spiderbox can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Full power distribution units are available up to 150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
