Simplisync delivers the reliable, unwavering power that the Cummins name is known for, while offering flexible options that are customizable to your needs. At Cummins, we understand that every user s power needs are unique. That s why we designed Simplisync from start to finish with the end user in mind, with several custom options alongside standard features that make it a product that s easy to configure, service, commission and use. Every Simplisync includes a front-access-only switchboard that provides easy access, even in small spaces. The conduit area and dimensional footprint are the same for both fixed-mount and draw-out breakers. 3 Small to Large The Scalability to Grow With Your Needs A facility s power needs to grow with time, and your system should be capable of growing with it. At Cummins, we understand this need and engineered Simplisync to be a system with the capability to grow as you do. Not only does Simplisync fit in a smaller footprint, it s scalable to meet your exact current power needs, yet allows you to expand in the future, if necessary, without migrating to a new system. It can be used for low-kilowatt installations paralleling two 400 kw, 500 kw or 600 kw generator sets and optimally configured for a variety of needs that include a fully automatic DMC-controlled or simple masterless setup with multiple paralleling options. It is also compatible with high-kilowatt installations for paralleling up to 2,500 kw generator sets and power transfer control with up to 3,200 kw generator sets. You Choose Who s in Control The system can be configured with either a fully integrated DMC 1000 or as a masterless system. The Simplisync 1000 applies a dedicated purpose, microprocessor-based controller that provides supervisory and power transfer functions for one utility and up to four generator sets with paralleling control. This paralleling power is a fully automatic, distributed logic arrangement suitable for use in unattended applications but allows for operator adjustment through a system-status display panel. As a masterless system, the Simplisync 500 can be operated with PowerCommand control (PCC) paralleling for simple, isolated bus applications. This basic setup eliminates utility monitoring and control as well as tie breakers. Alternatively, the Simplisync 700 is operated as a power transfer control (PTC), where the generator set PTC performs the utility monitoring and breaker control of a single utility and generator set. Even as a masterless system, Simplisync is still a fully integrated system all breakers, control wiring and interconnection termination points are Cummins branded, backed by our rigorous factory standards, and fully validated and verified using PCC generator set simulators. Transition Modes Engineered to Meet Your Needs Unlike other systems at a similar price point, the Simplisync 700 and Simplisync 1000 products can also be configured to operate in one of three modes: 1. Open Transition the utility power is never connected to the generator set. As the power transitions from generator set back to the utility after a normal source failure, there is a brief power outage. 2. Soft Transition the utility power and generator set briefly connect, long enough for the load to ramp from one source to another. 3. Extended Parallel the utility power and generator set can remain connected for an indefinite amount of time. In this mode, the generator set source will operate in base load or peak shave. The scalability of these paralleling options provides the flexibility to meet your needs for transition time from utility power source to generator set without over-engineering the system.

Simplisync combines switchgear and system interface into one compact, standardized unit to accelerate power system delivery and simplify installation and commissioning. This means not only is it a true integrated system, it is one that is Cummins engineered and tested from start to finish providing the reliability and performance for which the Cummins name is internationally known. We engineered this system on our Power of One platform, as one complete integrated system that has already been tested and validated at our factory to meet our stringent criteria. Because the system is a modularized design for different system complexity, it requires less engineering during installation. Not only is the time to delivery significantly reduced, the cost of installation is lower because Simplisync is a truly integrated system that is both compact and simple to install.
