2 The new PowerBox Built for harsh environments The new PowerBox is ideal for long-term power projects in a wide variety of on-site prime power applications such as powering remote villages, industrial plants, refineries or mining operations. Rugged, hardworking engines The KTA38 and KTA50 diesel engines are known for their durability. They are suitable for all markets and tolerate wide variations in fuel quality. Plus with high derating threshold for temperatures, altitudes and humidity, these engines rank among the top performers no matter what the conditions. Tough cooling and exhaust systems The cooling system is engineered to meet Limiting Ambient Temperature (LAT) in excess of 50 ºC at continuous rating. Its vertical hot air discharge makes the PowerBox suitable for installations of multiple generator sets in a single location.
