This system will provide reliable clean power and cooling for your Grow facility. The system will act as your facility s power utility, running independent from the SCE grid. Due to the large amount of power required at the site and limitation on SCE power availability, running isolated from the grid is required. While the microturbines provide clean and reliable power the included exhaust gas fired absorption chillers will provide about 188 RT of cooling for use in climate control. This high efficiency design and re-capture of exhaust energy provides an approx. net annual energy savings of $600,000 against the SCE s TOU-8 utility tariff. Capstone microturbines feature a patented low maintenance air bearing technology, the lowest emissions of any non-catalyzed gas combustion engine, and digital power conversion to stand as the optimal power generation solution. The stand-alone power plant consists of 3 200kW power modules, each capable of independent operation. This configuration ensures full power is available in any operating condition and provides redundancy for reliable power during unplanned equipment outages and during planned maintenance.
