These non-lubricated compressors have developed a reputation for high quality, high reliability, and cost effectiveness. Since 2009 RIX has delivered more than 700 aerospace systems to the U.S. Navy. RIX standard oil-free compressors range in size from units that fit in the palm of your hand, to systems as large as a small aircraft itself. Pressures from our reciprocating compressors are as high as 700 BAR. Power requirements start at less than 3/8 HP (0.280 kw) and go up to 500 HP (375 kw).

SABRE is currently in service on board the BOEING P-8A, supplying pneumatic power for the main weapons bay S&RE, and the sonobuoy launching system. SABRE is an exciting new product encompassing three models covering requirements up to 50 HP.

RIX Industries years of product experience led to the development of coalescers and dehydration units (molecular and membrane) that consistently deliver air at moisture levels acceptable for high altitude ejection or cooling. In systems such as SABRE, moisture is removed inter-stage by a moisture separation manifold. The manifold combines cyclonic and coalescing action to break out liquid and discard it via solenoid drains.
