2 SHERPA MEDIUM The Sherpa Medium family is a line of 6x6 and 4x4 tactical trucks with 6 to 12 tonnes payload offering exceptional all-terrain obstacle-clearing capability thanks to a specific military chassis (MOTS). Sherpa Medium can be airlifted by C-130 and is pre-fitted to receive an armoured cabin. It is particularly suitable for frontline logistics (munition, fuel or equipment supplies), as well as for transportation of weapon systems on the battlefield. Finally, it gives the Renault Trucks Defense HIGUARD 6x6 medium armoured vehicle its all-terrain mobility. Around 100 Sherpa Medium vehicles are in daily operational use with the French armed forces as logistics carriers or CAESAR (155 mm) artillery system carriers. The Sherpa Medium chassis has also been selected for CAESAR and HIGUARD systems in service with several countries in Asia and the Middle East. RENAULT TRUCKS DEFENSE SHERPA MEDIUM
