Inspired by the world of private aviation, she combines the latest carbon fibre technology with Scandinavian design and Danish craftsmanship. Not only can she achieve speeds of almost 50 knots whisking you from St Tropez to Monaco in just under an hour but she is able to stop from full ahead in about two boat lengths. Known as the Land of Light, Skagen boasts a fine harbour where we continue the Danish tradition of quality and craftsmanship, combined with the very best in modern Scandinavian and European design and cutting-edge technology. We have three very large production halls, covering an area of 9,500 square metres and we also have our own joinery and metal workshops on site, where we specialise in designing and building high tech superyachts using an advanced carbon-fibre/ epoxy construction. We are one of the only yards in the world capable of building such large superyacht in this way.

15 THE DESIGNER: ESPEN ØINO The visionary behind the AeroCrusier 38 II and the AeroCruiser Range. 27 Espen Øino International is a design house with a global reputation for innovation, his team having been responsible for some of the most high-profile superyachts afloat. Espen himself is Norwegian, educated in France and with a degree in naval architecture from Strathclyde University in Scotland. He brings a great sense of heritage and tradition to his work, coming as he does from a family with five generations in the yachting industry. Espen s association with Danish Yachts began with Moon Goddess. The first of the AeroCruiser range, she combined performance and luxury as never before. Our collaboration has continued with the the AeroCruiser 38 II. Spurred on by the success of our relationship, Espen is now developing the range with an exciting Flybridge version.
