3 WHAT S NEW FOR 2016 NEW MODEL ALIGNMENT Continuing the effort to streamline the Jaguar model line-up, XJ will have a new model alignment for Standard Wheel Base (119.4") - New XJ R-Sport (RWD and AWD) - XJ Supercharged (RWD) - XJR (RWD) Long Wheel Base (124.3") - XJL Portfolio (RWD and AWD) - XJL Supercharged (RWD) - XJR LWB (RWD) NEW FEATURES All Surface Progress Control (standard, all variants) to aid start off in difficult traction conditions and provide consistent low speed progress Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS) (rear drive models only) reduce engine power draw for efficiency and enabling Park Assist Park Assist (NA on AWD variants) enables automatic steering for parallel, perpendicular and parallel park exit. Made possible by EPAS. 360 Park Distance Control (PDC) allows monitoring clearance in close maneuvering Surround Cameras shows views all around the vehicle and at junctions ACC with Queue Assist enhanced Adaptive Cruise Control that will bring the XJ to a complete stop if needed in stop and go traffic Blind Spot Monitor with Closing Vehicle Sensing (standard all variants) warns the driver of a rapidly approaching vehicle that will soon be in the blind spot.
