Nissan s next-generation Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)^ with Auxiliary gearbox produces seamless, responsive acceleration, as the stepless transmission s almost infinite number of gear ratios eliminates the shift shock between gear changes usually experienced with automatic transmissions. TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) On low friction surfaces to help prevent wheel slip, TCS responds by reducing throttle or applying brake pressure to help improve traction. ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) In the event of an emergency situation, ABS modulates the brakes to help the driver maintain stability and steering control as well as preventing the brakes from locking. BRAKE ASSIST & ELECTRONIC BRAKEFORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD) Brake Assist senses emergency braking and automatically helps to apply maximum braking pressure if needed.
